We stopped here on Nov 3 2016 for gas fill and lunch on our road journey from Houston TX to San Jose CA . The restaurant serves buffet lunch consisting of typical North Indian dishes like mutter paneer, kadi, pulao, naan, daal makhani, achar, etc. We also ordered aalu paranthas . Paranthas had home-type fillings with green chillies and tasted... More

This restaurant has to be one of the most ghetto places I have ever eaten at in New Mexico! Pretty dirty - inside and out. This is basically a truck stop with the "restaurant" inside the convenience store. All of the workers and customers were Indian. Who knew?! In San Jon, NM! No female customers. The food was really good... More

This place may have the Taste of India but it looked like the ghettos of Calcutta. No more did we open the doors of my truck & about a hundred flys flew in. This place literally stank. When we went in there are groups of Indian men standing around giving you the evil eye. Going to use the filthy bathrooms... More

This Indian restaurant is literally in the middle of nowhere. I visited this during a solo cross country road trip I was taking. Authentic parathas and achaar will remind you of home. Don't expect any kind of special service. Only thing you are guaranteed to get here is good food. There's no menu, no price list. You order food and... More

I had come here before a few years ago. This is driving westward on 40 in New Mexico. The place has good biz with many indians eating here. I had garbanzo beans and rice and the curry chicken. Overall it was good. Do not expect a great looking location here as you will feel like you are actually in India.... More

I saw this while driving on I-40 just soon after New Mexico State begins. The food was very nice. I had 2 Paratha & 2 Samosa. They taste good however the price was high.. I guess I paid around 14. Well, it was middle of nowhere.. So probably ok. Good food and definitely recommend to stop by if you like... More

Never thought I would be eating truck stop food especially a mom and pop one in the middle of no where New Mexico. But I read the review and everyone said the same thing about this place, that it is absolutely amazing. One person wrote he drove 2 hours just for this food. I must say I am very impressed... More

Passed a billboard advertising this place. Pulled up a few reviews on my phone, all really good for the most part. We pulled in and had a chuckle as it is part of a gas station/convenience store/truck stop. Saw that it was a buffet, assumed it would be closed as it was 3PM. Nope!! We were greeted and handed styrofoam... More

New Mexico never ceases to amaze me! This unlikely restaurant is in a semi abandoned truck stop in deplorable condition but the food! To die for! I admit I do love Indian food and finding a place like this in such a remote and isolated place has influenced my 5 star review. My sister and I had a breakfast of... More

I love Indian food, but I live in an area where Mexican cuisine is far more common, and Chinese food way too common as an alternate fare. So the first time I passed through San Jon (otherwise a speed bump on my route from Clayton to Clovis), I was surprised to see this restaurant by the roadside. I seldom am... More
