Salad bar is decent. Meals were OK. service was also OK. Dessert (creme brulee) was not caramelized enough and didn't taste very fresh...would not suggest. The mud pie was freezer burned. I would not come back again.

I had the prime rib and it was delicious. The salad bar is big and full of fresh veggies. Our waitress was great her name is Clarissa.

I went ahead & got the Ribeye b/c it was only a little more money than the other items. The food was great!

Wonderful, tasty & tender Prime Rib with an extensive Salad Bar. Prices are typical for a steak house but the food is anything but typical.... Service was terrific and it seemed like we had a waiter dedicated to our table. The menu was very complete and seemed to offer something for anyone's taste, but even if you passed up an... More

This restaurant needs a good cleaning. Very dated and dirty. We had to sort through the plates on the salad bar to find a clean one. Took the silverware out of the napkin and one fork had dried food on it. Hugh turn off.

The evening before we ate at this establishment, my wife and i had a fabulous meal at the battle Baron in Roswell, NM. So we decided to have a light dinner at the bar in the Baron in Ruidoso. When asked for a vodka gimlet, the bar tender (Moriana) looked toward the shelved bottles as if expecting to find it... More

Darn. One of THE few times the trip advisor ratings mislead my decision. Chose this restaurant based on reviews. We arrived to find 9 well dressed servers all congregating at the hostess stand nine !!! The salad bar was nice and well stocked- the facility was tired and dirty - see photos. Ordered the house cut sirloin- it was good... More

Not impressed at all! Bread wasn't good, salad bar was just ok, and no ones entrees were good enough to be worth the money. We will not return.

We had our family of 21 there and all loved the service and food. Great salad bar and the steaks were cooked just the way we like. We will be back next time for certain. Definitely would recommend to all.

Cattle Baron is the place to eat in Ruidoso and fits well to the area. The atmosphere and service were fine. It is very "family" oriented and can get a little loud. We ordered a ribeye and that might have been a mistake because I'm not a real steak person. My last recollection of a ribeye was from Ponderosa Steakhouse... More
