This is a really good local restaurant with tasty, local food and friendly service. The service was fast and friendly.

One of my favorite new mexican restaurants. The food is really great and home cooked. I return to try different things on the menu. Their Adobada is wonderful, but so is their plain enchiladas and tacos. Save room for the Sopapillas!

Ranchos Plaza Grill is a fabulous place to get your authentic Northern New Mexican food fix with great service, as well. I strongly recommend the blue corn enchiladas smothered in red, and the Navajo tacos!

Right next to the beautiful San Francisco de Asis Church in Rancho de Taos, sits a small, family-run restaurant that serves some amazing food. The service is great and everyone is very friendly, even to my wife and I, who obviously stood out among the crowd of locals as strangers from a strange land. (Well, if you consider Los Angeles... This is a good, quaint family run New Mexican restaurant. Service is very friendly, if sometimes a bit slow. Part of the "slow" is that most meals contain some items cooked to order. The sopapillas, included with many meals, are a real treat. Best we had in New Mexico. The rest of the food varies from pretty good to very... More

Located on the south side of town, in the same Plaza as the San Francisco de Asis Church, this is a hidden gem. They close between lunch and dinner so call to confirm hours 575-758-5788. The building is an old hacienda with numerous rooms, each with 4-5 tables. Check out their washroom that has a bathtub in it! It wasn't... More

This was the best Sunday brunch I've ever had. So many kinds of food. All very fresh. Some rather fancy. Great coffee, lovely decor. We will be back!

The Hampton Inn Taos recommended Ranchos Plaza Grill, advising us that this hotel had the best Sopaipillas! Not knowing what Sopaipillas was, we decided to check it out! The greatest Mexican Meal ever! Along with the service and friendliness, you can't ask for a better night out! This is a must place to visit, it will be worth your effort... More
