This is a great restaurant for tasting the fine Mexican food of the interior of Mexico. This is not your average selection of tacos and enchiladas. I highly recommend the 4 types of mole as well as the steak with grilled onions and interesting types of chiles in use there. Treat yourself to an evening of exploration of real food... More

Was so excited to see that their tomatillo jalapeno salsa is as perfect as when we first experienced it in early 2016. Very attentive and charming waiter. Flavorful raspberry vinaigrette, wonderful poblano mole, and creamy flan. Will be back several more times b4 leaving next week.

3 couples. We all enjoyed our plates. Our waters was so nice and responsive to our needs and requests. We bragged about the fish tacos to our friends but we were not aware that they did not offer this plate for dinner. However, our waitress spoke to the chef and boom, we were able to get our fish tacos on... More

This restaurant deserves to be rated much higher than it is currently. It may be that it is somewhat hidden in a small plaza across from the busier St. Clair winery. The menu is extensive and inventive and reminded us of the upscale cuisine you expect in Santa Fe. My wife ordered duck breast with mango relish for her entree... More

We have been here several times and have consistently found the food to be well presented and tasty. When you peruse the menu, you find quite a few unique offerings. Items containing chile are mild. The cost is reasonable, about $30 for two filling meals, including tip. Service has been a little spotty but never bad. Once there was a... More

We have traveled to the Pacific Northwest every summer for several years and one of our first stops is a fish matket selling locally caught fresh off the boat that day salmon and crab, etc. So we know the taste of the best of the best in these delights. There is a buttery richness to fresh salmon that no sauce... More

The server was not attentive to our fairly large table. We had to hunt her down to order more drinks. I personally didn’t get what I ordered correct. The steak was well done when I asked for it medium rare. The plates and bottles of beers where never picked up. I also noticed the table behind us was not cleaned... More

A friend of ours recommended we visit and eat at Paisano Cafe. The food was out of this world...fresh, clean, not manufactured. You can even taste the love in every piece of food which reminds me of the movie, "Like Water for Chocolate." From the building's architecture to the ambiance inside Paisano Cafe to the soft, instrumental, music of acoustic... More

My wife and had talked about trying this restaurant since a good friend suggested. So we drove to the area ( the location is not in Las Cruces, but rather Old Mesilla) and it's is hidden. You need to drive all the way into an annex building and to your left you will see it. Well we got there and... More

I do not make a habit of complaining but felt I should share this was my fellow Las Cruces friends. We had breakfast there and it was the worst ever! First of all we had to wait a very long time for our food to arrive. Had to ask for a coffee refill, etc. Then when the food finally came... More
