Good service, good rooms, free breakfast was sub par. Would consider staying again for a single night while traveling.

The service clubs love the Hillcrest, now the oldest restaurant in town. The food is not great, but the clubs offer inexpensive lasagna, spaghetti, and pancake days at reasonable prices. Good place to meet people and get caught up. Not a good choice for a great metal, however. Friendly service.

We ate here last weekend for breakfast and thoroughly enjoyed our experience! Large portions, fresh ingredients prepared with love...very friendly staff! Small restaurant where the locals eat-inexpensive and very good! We will be back on our next trip to Las Vegas, NM!

Asked the hotel to suggest a place to eat. She said all the locals go to Hillcrest. Good food and fair prices. Las Vegas, NM is a small town and we took the advice of the hotel staff. The food was excellent. The salsa was fresh and tasty, the entrees were a decent portions. We saw lots of families come... More

We loved the tacos! We both like cheddar cheese fried in a skillet so these were of interest to us. They fry cheese on the outside of the fresh corn tortillas then fold it over resulting in an intense cheese flavor. The salsa and green sauce were tasty- spicy, but not too hot for us. Our waitress Patsy was a... More

My family and I have been eating at The Hillcrest for years. It is highly recommended by the locals. Always great food, service, and atmosphere.

We first discovered this restaurant 8 years ago on our way to Texas. Now we look forward to stopping for lunch to enjoy their delicious tacos and salsa. Everything is fresh and hot. You may have to wait a little bit if you arrive during the peak lunch hour but it will be worth the wait

Stopped in for EARLY Breakfast (6:00 AM) several "locals" on site - greeted, served fresh coffee and ordered quickly! Definitely Old School type restaurant- cute & well kept - generationally managed and owned resulted in a comfortable, tasty meal. Ordered the Enchiladas & Eggs - very tasty enchilada sauce & authentic-
