Was visiting with friends in the area and was told to try the food at this restaurant on the ground floor of this old hotel. Restaurant is operated separately from the hotel. Menu had a variety of meat, fish and pasta dishes and offered them with the flavors of northern New Mexico. I ordered the 12 ounce ribeye steak with... More

We visited Las Vegas , N.M. and were fortunate to find this gem in the middle of town. It is located in the historic El Fidel Hotel. We were there in August and I had a wonderful mushroom and spinach risotto, we also had the blackened chicken salad and the steak arugula salad all of which were delicious. They also... More

I checked trip adviser for a gluten free restaurants and came here. It was delicious. We were a party of 5 and all enjoyed their food. I had the vegetable and wild rice bowl with chicken it was so flavorful. Would definitely recommend it.

Had the opportunity to have dinner at the El Fidel restaurant in Las Vegas, NM with ten of our friends. The service was somewhat slow but attentive. Cocktails and wine were delicious and the dinners were ample, tasty and satisfying.

We stopped here on the way back from Red River hoping for some good food. Although it was good and the servers were nice, they were out of many things which seemed surprising since you could get them from a local grocery. Then we waited for 45 minutes for pork sandwiches. Seriously? Pork takes 3 minutes on each side and... More

Thanks to Trip Advisor we found this restaurant on our overnight stop in Las Vegas, NM. It is attached to the El Fidel Hotel with a separate entrance off the street. The menu is really interesting and extensive - not something you would expect to find in a town of this size. I had the soup of the day -... More

This restaurant is consistently excellent with a really varied menu. A lot of the food is locally sourced (they have fantastic lamb)..the dinner presentation is great and the food is excellent. I had grilled trout with a lemon shrimp sauce served over roasted potatoes and vegetables that was amazing. Also they make the best Creme Brulee I've eaten anywhere....save room... More

This restaurant has a good reputation in town. The food is good, fresh and different from most of the others in Las Vegas- not as much Hispanic food. More of a casual dining experience during the day- never been there at night.

We had the steamed clams in a garlic broth (with fresh sourdough bread slices for dipping) and the pork entree and a ribeye steak. Everything was seasoned so well, delicious! Creme brulee for dessert.
