Nuckleweed is the small town breakfast you've been looking for if you're in the Alamogordo area. The food is homemade, tastes great, and has a pretty good atmosphere. The service was great as well; we could tell our server actually cared. If you're visiting or live here, this is a must stop. The stuffed French toast is a must have.

We enjoyed the friendly servers and the food was delicious. However, it is best to call for reservations ahead of time. We almost didn't get to eat there that day. The eating area is very nice, decorated with unique western items; the deck is nice if you aren't facing the sun. Otherwise the view is desert with a view of... More

Nuckelweed Place is a hidden gem up in Laborcita Canyon. It is a small yet mighty establishment! We have eaten there for breakfast, lunch and dinner and every meal has been amazing. You will need a reservation since their seating is limited but it is worth the extra effort to have an amazing homemade meal. They source local ingredients and... More

I've been to Nuckleweed several times and I am.never disappointed. The service is great and the staff is super friendly. I typically feel like I'm going to visit family when I go there versus a restaurant. The food is nothing short of amazing!!!

Top notch Americana-style food. Chefs are first rate. Brunch is incredible, and dinner selections are amazing. Reservations are required!!! Relaxed dining up LaBrecita Canyon, far from the madding crowd - a 20 minute drive from Alamogordo. Be sure to allow plenty of time, the emphasis is on the food and your dining company and friendly conversation. No credit cards, but... More

**cash only**. Nowhere did I see a sign that said this but inconveniently found out when the bill arrived . We wanted to go to a unique place out of town which this certainly met our needs with that. It's a beautiful drive to get to this location. This looks way more like a private home than anything. The signs... More

Wish I could keep this place a secret. That good. Call ahead or don't go. Bring cash and an appetite. Expect the unexpected. Food so good you will try to kiss the chef. It's not even a doublewide. Just a regular old single-wide. Food isn't just good. It is exceptional.

Every time we come to visit, we go here for a big family breakfast. The food is cooked to order and is never disappointing. The French toast is a must. My youngest loves it and eats every bite of the large serving. The Bagel Push is also delicious but don't forget to add green chilies to it. You are in... More
