Read reviews on TA and decided to give it a try. The food was very good. New Mexican red or green sauce, not TX Mex. I prefer the green over the red but they were both tasty. Salsa was really good, chips crisp. Service was excellent. Nothing fancy but worth a stop.

We stopped for breakfast and sopapillas. Everything was very good but the sopapillas were the best. They were flakey, fluffy and delicious.

Irma's serves exceptional guacamole for a very reasonable price. Pretty much at cost! Best barbacoa tacos east of San Diego and west of anywhere! With smiling service and plenty of tables, hard to beat. Should be #1 in Deming.

Irma's was delicious. We had the taco plate and the beans, and tacos were great. We had to have the sopaphillas and they were excellent. The staff was friendly. The restaurant was very busy in the middle of the afternoon,

Most of the restaurants were closed so we had a hard time finding a place to eat. A lady at Walgreens mentioned for us to eat there. I wasn't impressed when we drove up but was tired and hungry from traveling and didn't want to argue. The tacos were one of the best I every had! Jasmin was our waitress... More

We stopped in for lunch at the recommendation of a local working at the art center. It was great! The salsa was excellent. It is a good sign when the place was packed with the local people.

This is the first place I ate while visiting Deming. I gotta say this is as far as a restaurant can get to Mexican food its was very very good! I ordered the irmas special Parrilladas wich had arrachera tacos ( Wonderful) a baked potato ( very good) beans ( delicious) and avocato. Very very good plate and well served!

The food here is incredibly good, as evidenced by all of the locals that frequent this place. Irma's is now our favorite place for eats between Tucson and Albuquerque. You won't feel out of place if you wear your Wranglers, big belt buckle, boots, and cowboy hat. Just make sure they are all a bit soiled so you don't look... More
