On a friend's recommendation we stopped here for tamales on our way home to Tucson. He didn't steer me wrong! Honestly some of the best tamales I've ever had. Loved the flavor and, holy cow, SEVEN DOLLARS a dozen! Bought 3 dozen and a breakfast burrito (also tasty and ridiculously cheap). Fortunately I have a friend who visits her parents... More

My husband and I had the tamale plate with red. I thought they were very good, my husband didn't like them at all. There are a few spices that he just can't stand. I thought they were moist and full of flavor. The red sauce was good but not spicy hot. The plate came with beans, rice and a fresh... More

Amigo's is basically a crry out,but you can picnic outside at a table with a sun shelter over it. The food is great and in expensive. You can also buy bulk cheese. Colby is as cheep or cheaper than you can buy it in Wisconsin. If you can't eat spicy don't go there..

The food is really good and you can buy it in bulk at a very good price! You need a lot of food for an event or something you can get a lot from them.

Have tried this place several times. For a breakfast burrito to go (fast) not too bad. For game day food/snacks, the taco tray is better than most sit down places. It was loaded with fresh veggies and they had flavor. The tamales (both green chili & cheese and the pork) are tasty and filling. Tamales are not dripping in grease... More

It used to be so much better. Not sure what changes they have made, but we did not like the flavor of the tamales at all! I hope they figure it out and improve this. We will not return.

Take your own container on Saturday or Sunday and you can purchase it by the quart. To to it off, it's the best around!

Food was good and the service was fast. Men's restroom was a little strange though. First time that I have seen the wash basin outside the restroom.

Have been staying in the Deming area and have picked up food at Amigo's twice now. Excellent Mexican food and a very affordable price. My favorite is the tostados.

We stopped by on our way out of Deming and bought 4 dozen to freeze in our RV. They were the best we have eaten- not too spicy, but lots of good filling. The green chili and cheese tamales have a strip of white cheese in the center that does not get lost when you heat them-the chesse flavor is... More
