We searched TripAdvisor for a good place to eat in this sparsely populated part of the country. Not only found a great choice but had some of the best Mexican food we've had anywhere. Spiced just right, perfect serving size, and very efficient and friendly service on top of it all. The whole place was very clean, neat and well... More

We asked a policeman where we could get a good meal. He said El Bruno's is where most everyone eats. Cute décor. I asked for pork with green chili. I got red chili. The patrons at the tables around us were unhappy: cold food, no one ever came to take order, no cilantro to be had. Both the green chili... More

This seemed to be only non-chain restaurant. Wonderful experience from time we stepped into the courtyard. Clean, quiet and well-maintained. Lots of local enjoying their mid-week lunch. The food was great. I had a relleno for $7.95. It was pure air! The sides were equally good - pinto beans were not over-done and the Spanish rice was spicy - each... More

Just another basic Mexican restaurant. Fancy mostly. Other restaurants in Cuba worth checking out, though.

If you're traveling US550 between Albuquerque and Bloomfield, NM, you'll pass through the small town of Cuba about 80 miles northwest of Albuquerque. Hopefully you'll pass through Cuba around lunch time and will stop at El Bruno's for some of the very best Mexican food you can find anywhere! The Green Chili Relleno is prepared perfectly and I have never... More

Drove in late from Chaco Canyon to find this was the ONLY places open at 9 pm. We were very surprised to find a diverse menu. The hamburger was large and very moist and tasty. The chicken piñon was excellent. Fried fresh spinach and a rich cream sauce. The tab was 36$ but worth it.

I'm so happy we stopped here. Delicious food, fast service. The wait stuff was friendly too. This is a great stop after traveling between Albuquerque and Durango.

Love their food. The staff are wonderful. Hazel was there and a gracious hostess. The only problem is that salsa and chips are so good I eat too much before my food arrives.
