This place has really consistent good German food ... the kind your grandma made. I highly recommend sauerbraten, spaetzles and red cabbage. The restaurant decor itself requires a little bit of an open mind. Lots of collectibles and such. We have grown to love it. Service is great and have never been disappointed with any meal.

Don't miss this place if you like German food. Come hungry. Large plates of excellent food and friendly staff are waiting. Wouldnt have guessed this place exists right outside the gate. Great find. I'll be back.

Loads of AUTHENTIC German & Austrian food at exceptionally reasonable prices. The décor is a whimsical hoot! Every doll and decorative figurine ever created, inside & out! Wait staff is fun. Be prepared to be teased. Bring your own wine. Crowded on weekends. Just a great, fun place. Good for families & children.

Have been here many times over the years. Very authentic German cuisine just like Oma used to make! Charming restaurant with plenty to look at while you enjoy their delicious selections. Go for the Sunday brunch, so you can try all their specialties. Good service and a BYOB, too!

This place was great! We all had to take food home. Go there when you have time for a leisurely dinner. The people were very nice. Definitely going back.

My wife and my father in law are two of the most picky eaters around. They both lived in Germany for an extended period of time and know good German food. They walked out of this place saying it was the best meal they ever had. I myself had the jaeger schnitzel with the potato pancakes. Unbelievably good.meberything from the... More

Friends born in Germany and living in USA give Sebastian's a good review, but as vegetarians we usually don't find much we like at German restaurants. And this place is VERY German, it's worth a visit just to stop in to buy chocolate and absorb the atmosphere. However, we found many items on the menu that were vegetarian, all excellent... More

Been coming to Fort Dix for years and I've always wanted to try this place. Had the Sunday buffet today and couldn't more satisfied. Extensive selection of both breakfast and dinner items. I really liked the grilled wurst and saurkraut. Very nice selection of desert items as well. My waitress was extremely friendly and attentive as well.
