Another of the well done restaurants at the Empire Resort outside of Bandar Seri Begawan. This is Chinese and we had the set menu which proved to be quite nice. Just remember this is Muslim so no pork/alcohol.

We had a very enjoyable evening here. The staff were friendly, competent, accommodating and kind. The menu was varied enough to have a tough choice deciding what to have. In the end we went for the set menu which provided more food than we expected. Great evening overall.

It was a Thursday when we made reservations for our dinner. It was a buffet style , and it was quite expensive, at 48 Brunei dollars excluding drinks. What I meant was that there is no complimentary house water , or tea for that matter. Nevertheless, we enjoyed our meal. Selection was more of seafood, although there are some meat... More

I ate at Li Gong twice during the short time that I was staying at The Empire Hotel & Country Club. On my first dinner visit, I had the set menu, which started out with soup, followed by three main courses & rice, and completed by dessert. I especially enjoyed the Fried Fish Fillet with Sweet & Sour Sauce and... More

Very good quality Chinese food. The Mocktails were very good as well. Enjoyed the meal with wife while staying at the hotel.

I love the interior of the restaurant. We had dinner on Monday and the place was empty, literally. It was when we almost finished our meal that another family came in. Still the servers were very friendly, no signs of boredom or whatsoever. Food was set-menu. They have a list of soup, meat and veggies to choose from. Dishes were... More

Li Gong is located on the Empire Hotel property, set in its own beautiful building. The restaurant is in line with the very nice decor of the entire Empire property, with a wonderful main dining room and at least one separate function room. The food here is excellent, as is the service. Chef Raj oversees a wonderful team, and my... More

It was a "eat-all-you-can" buffet that you order from the menu. The dishes are freshly cooked as you order them. If you like a particular dish, you could order it as many times as you could eat it. We especially enjoyed the way the prawns and beef that were cooked. Because it takes a while for the food to be... More

Stayed at The Empire Hotel & Country Club over the weekend and this is the only place available have some sort of buffet style dinner without actually going out of the resort. We decided to try it out and book it through our room. To our surprise, it was full of patrons when we enter the restaurant. The buffet twist... More

I happened to walk past Li Gong asking for directions to downtown and was not planning for dinner there. I have spoken to Ms. Hazariana from the reception who was patient and helpful. In the end, I decided to give a try since I have good experience with other restaurants in Empire. There was a decent selection of food but... More
