The restaurant was recommended to us by the owners of our guesthouse. We had a delicious meal and excellent wines, recommended by the waiter. The relationship between price and quality was almost perfect. Highly recommended.

Excellent cuisine served by the amazingly efficient wait staff. Have to be commended for attention to detail. Cuisine was imaginative. Slow cooked pork belly a must. The wildebeest was cooked rare ,very nice.

Our celebratory dinner was held at Field & Fork after the Double Century race. The food was amazing and the service was organised and they took great care of the team!!

it is a special place best enjoyed with your partner/spouse. Thewildbeest entre was one of the best meats i've had in my life. Best to reserve in advance as it is a small restaurant which gets fully booked easily.

Excellent food, excellent service and lovely waitress just disappointed they only had one South African gin which is quite a distinctive flavour and not my taste.

Can't fault the food. The fillet was prepared perfectly. No one at the table had any complaints. The creme brulee was most enjoyable. The server was friendly and talkative without being overbearing, adding to the evening in a positive way.

Super delicious and friendly restaurant with very nice music. We've had a set menu with a nice starter, as the main curse we ordered the lamb beef with green aspargus and for the desert we had a nice dark choclate mousse.

Lovely intimate atmosphere, situated in one of Swellendam's oldest houses. The menu is small but interesting, although there are little vegetarian options provided. This restaurant was recommended to me as a special experience, but I was a bit disappointed, as the lamb shank which I...More

I think this restaurant is a bit overvalued. Too many table in small room, Server smells cigarette too much. Service charge is already 10% added, we are just 3 person. I also had in mind to spend gratuity, but felt forced. Food is good, but...More
