The food is very average, and the choice is poor. The service is substandard and the manageress should be sacked.

Just so you know - the "TV chef" Reuben Riffel is not associated with this restaurant anymore. It's still a great little restaurant in a quaint setting, with an excellent menu and attentive staff. The pork belly is to die for. On the negative side is the smallish menu, which would not be a problem if it changed somewhat, at... More

Super quaint and friendly venue, bright and classic setting, happy and efficient staff. The menu was small and simple, and the food simple but tasty. So why ruin it all with a completely dishonest wine list? Feel free to ask the owners why their top priced premium Bushmanspad Sauvignon Blanc at R380 on the menu costs R44 from the cellar... More

Lovely, Sunday Winters lunch. The service was excellent, staff was friendly and accommodating, we felt at home and spoilt. The hostess, Lana was very welcoming and made the lunch special with a nice letter and some roses. Warm plates, lovely food, good portions. The homemade Masala ice cream was an absolute treat!

They went the extra mile by giving us complimentary champagne when we arrived as it our anniversary and gave us very personal attention but the food was good but not quite the standard we were expecting, the desert was probably the best course. Considering the prices it was a bit exspensive for 4 star food but it is a very lovely... More

I can only say: excellent and thank you for the experience. I am one of the most fussy eaters and it takes a great cook / chef to keep me happy. I had the pork belly as main and the malva was interesting. Not sure if I will have ut again, but it was fun trying something different than the... More

The best ever calamari starter with a scrumptious salad, followed by mouth watering pork belly. The only negative for supper was my dessert. Soft tart base filled with bland lemon filing and mini meranges which glued my teeth together. Breakfast was another let down with oily generic hashbrown, I had such high hopes.

Had dinner twice while in town recently, and we're really pleased both times. Creative but tasty bistro style fare, served by friendly staff in a cozy but modern and inviting space. Great wine list, mainly from the region. Definitely the best option in town, and we tried the lot.

My partner and I had a three course dinner that was simply sensational. Everything was fresh and of a very high standard and beautifully plated. The service was outstanding and the ambiance great. I can highly recommend this restaurant to everyone who appreciates fine dining.
