The restaurant is old and may need some renovations, however, their food is really good and their prices are ok for their location in the boardwalk. Waiter was a foreigner, really friendly and hard worker. It was crowded so he was serving different tables. Their gyros and their cucumber sauce are phenomenal. Their spaghetti with meatballs is really good too.... More

We stopped here wanting to sit to eat. We were a party of 7 and got seated quickly. Each of us were happy with our meals. I had a meatball sandwich which was excellent. We ate at better know restaurants other days but all agreed that we had better food and less waste of food at this restaurant.

This review is for the hot spot directly beside mariners arcade. The original hot spot. I'm glad the other locations aren't as bad as the original. Ordered higher end platter, breaded shrimp and scallops, mashed potatoes coleslaw and salad. Half the lettuce in the salad was brown, didn't eat most of it shrimp were really big and had good flavor... More

Had a great breakfast here on a Sunday morning after Labor Day -- fast, friendly service, eggs cooked perfectly, coffee hot and strong, reasonable price. Came back that evening for a counter service souvlaki which was equally good. Highly recommended.

My friends and I were hungry and since we were on the boardwalk decided to try the Hot Spot and we weren't disappointed. I had an eggplant panini, one of my friend's ordered the gyro platter and the other the shrimp po boy platter. The food was good and there was so much we took doggie bags back to the... More

I ordered the Gyro...excellent. Didn't need the platter - gyro was enough. Son ordered the Grilled Mediterranean Sandwich, came with fries. Excellent and enough fries to share. Service was quick and friendly!

My husband had an egg/sausage sandwich on a Kaiser roll and coffee. He said it was well cooked. I had the broccoli and cheese omelette with home fries, which my hubby ate. The toast was fine, but the jelly wasn't. The coffee was good also. Servers were pleasant.
