We have the platter and pierogi, then the cheese blinz for dessert. All delicious with a wonderful serve staff. Simply a nice Resturant with comfort food.

What a great little place! It's not huge, but not exactly a hole-in-the-wall, either. We went on a Wednesday night, maybe an hour before closing. There were quite a few specials on the board, and our one disappointment was to learn that they were out of the duck special. But, we went to have pierogis plus whatever else piqued our... More

My gf is of polish descent and I wanted to take her to a place w food like her "babci" used to make. We were hungry and ordered pierogis, potato pancake, borscht, pickle soup, kielbasa and beef stew. Everything tasted like traditional homemade according to my gf. Homemade or not it was all very good and we're glad that we... More

I brought 12 people here on a Wednesday night. We were the only business they had except for a small takeout order or two. I made the reservation a week in advance, and they were gracious and very nice to me on the phone. I called several times through the week to increase the party size from 6 to 8... More

I thought the food here would be great. It was not terrible but it wasn't amazing. The beef tasted more like steak. The potato pancakes were very good. Our waiter was not that social at first but was social later. Overall, I would recommend but probably won't visit again.

We were visiting my mother in New Jersey and someone had mentioned Polish food. So I looked up restaurants in nearby South River, knowing they had a large Polish population, and found this place. Parking was readily accessible on the street but you did have to feed a meter (but only 50 cents for 2 hours). I ordered the Platter... More

Great polish foid, the way it should be. Hungarian goulash between 2 fresh potato pancakes great. Friday nights fresh trout, great pierogies, good blintzes. Enjoy the chicken soup, actually has chicken in it! How many places have beets. Go back in time and enjoy

Authentic Polish (European) food is the billing I would give to Krakowiak. Placed along Main Street, you enter a bright nicely appointed dining room with pictures of various Polish sites. The menu is varied and clearly European in variety. we enjoyed the Kielbasa, not overly spiced and tasty, with excellent sauerkraut, pierogis (mushroom were excellent, potato and chees could use... Home cooked classic polish food. The breaded pork cutlet and cucumber soup were a big hit along with their selection of deserts. Will come back!
