My wife and I have been to Uncle Vinnie's Market twice and have enjoyed it both times. Though my wife is not a seafood lover, she enjoyed the clams casino and shrimp dish she had for dinner. Though we had hoped to get into the bar and restaurant, this was a great place and BYOB so it was a cost... More

We have been to this place many times before and have had enjoyable meals...my reason for this very poor review is how the owner treated us upon coming to dinner there last fall...we arrived at 7:30...not 8:30...not 9:00...7:30...! We have come here many, many times...the owner refused to seat us...there were only 2 couples ahead of us...!! This is absolutely... More

Excellent food, friendly staff. Flexibility in food preparation provides an excellent choice. I eat here 2-3 times a month.

Good luck even trying to get in here. Every time we have tried we either had to wait for a long time or we went early which isn't what we wanted. Good food, they have that down but the prices are a bit higher than what we expected. We also tried ordering out from their market store, next store. Again,... More

The biggest problem with UVM is that it is small. Both bar stools and tables are in short supply. If you are lucky enough to find a seat, you will find that most of the dishes are very good. My wife and I like their seafood salad - it is large enough to share. They serve beer, wine, and mixed... More

The market is an excellent alternative if the the restaurant is crowed with a long wait. BYOB the food is the same as the restaurant but with some added extras, like sandwiches, burgers, fries. Another nice feature they have take out orders call in and go pick up.

Uncle Vinnie's sells their fresh seafood at the market. You take home and cook or they will prepare it for you to take home. Their own big menu, and also the menu of their restaurant next door. Their chowder is made fresh and rates with the best in Boston. Their clam strips are homemade and tasty. All menu items are... More

I had the pleasure of recently having lunch at Uncle Vinnie's Market. What a wonderful surprise. I had a clam strip basket that came with the most delicious salad. The dressing was so good and the salad itself very fresh and tasty. Better than most restaurant side salads. Although I ordered the small basket and shared, I still had some... More

Small neighborhood restaurant but very busy. Come early at 4pm and get your table or try later. Always filled with friendly people. If you like Italian style Seafood dishes or Italian food, come and experience Uncle Vinnie's food, you'll be glad you did. Fresh seafood at Uncle Vinnies Clam Bar or go next door to his Italian Market. Good food... More

When in Raritan, stop here. Fresh seafood, like seashore fresh. The calamari was fantastic and the shrimp were HUGE. Very small place, only six tables, so come early to get a seat. BYOB, which is great.
