It's easy to seek out the seafood chains, but if you want a more local experience with excellent seafood that is freshly prepared with an Italian flair, then you could do a lot worse than going to Uncle Vinnie's. Yes, it's small, and yes you'll wait for a long time on the weekends, but don't let that deter you. The... More

We visited tonight as my youngest son wanted seafood salad. We swore off this place after years of attending when we saw a decline over many months. We missed it and tonight our expectations were met and exceeded. We were not rushed at all and when we left at 10:15 there were still two other tables there. Food is phenomenal... More

This is a small place but dang the food is good. Enjoyed the raw bar, my entree and my cocktails. I will be back.

I want to start by saying that the food was excellent! We just waited WAY too long for our entrees. We did order an appetizer and thank God we did!!! Our entree didn't come out for almost 50 minutes. I was okay with it till the other tables around us got their entrees. It should not take that long to... More

Small restaurant ( one on the corner and another in the next building).. with great food. The main restaurant features a full bar with seating around the periphery. The place was "packed" when we arrived - so we had about a 40 minute wait - But well worth the time. Food waS EXCELLENT - I had the scungilli! Price was... More

Terrific seafood, very generous portions. Nothing hugely inventive or fancy, just really good food and reasonably priced. My only beef (kidding) is that they don't take reservations and the wait can be extreme on a weekend. The owner (I think he name is Lou) is friendly and fun.

Cozy atmosphere, restaurant is small. Friday night is a long wait but the food is so worth it. The calamari salad is outstanding. All the dishes are great! cocktails are served. There is an Uncle Vinnie's adjacent open for lunch. BYO. Menu is also outstanding. Warning. Don't over order. Portions are very generous. Love both these places.

Over the past several years we have noticed a real decline in the service. We have usually gone a few times a quarter. Last Saturday we went about 8:00 and were told a table would be about 20 minutes. We sat at the bar and ordered drinks. About 10 minutes later the bartender handed us menus and said the kitchen...
