Don't miss the Manhattan (RED) clamp chowder. Also had class oregano and clams casino. Plus key lime pie that was so creamy and delicious.

Plain and simple, if you are a fish eater you can't beet Spikes. Simple atmosphere. Good service. Lots of choices. Maybe not a dating destination ( unless you both are crazy about a good piece of fish) but good for lunch or dinner any time. Chowder is awesome.

Always wanted to try Spikes, bought 3 lobster rolls at $51.00, they were terrible. Don't get them, so disappointed .

Stopped by on a Friday night bringing a boat down to Middle River Md. Spikes was close to the marina and came well recommended. We got the lobster, the surf and turf and the haddock. Good sized portions, fresh and flavorful. The owner was very friendly, greets and knows most guests, I guess they are regulars, and made us feel... More

It's an informal atmosphere, tables are close, but the food is fresh and awesome. It's a byob, but worth the wait.

Small fish store with restaurant- shellfish abundant and as fresh as it gets - limited fish variety tables with benches. Great for family lunch and dinner - byob. Great dessert pies all homemade

We love this place. The food is always good and hot. It is a BYOB so stop on your way to Spike's. Always a wait, but worth it.

Tucked away just off Rt 34 & Broadway in Point Pleasant NJ is a small fish market with an unassuming restaurant and bar included within. Containing maybe 20 picnic bench style tables in a seat yourself, utter casual environment Spikes has the best dishes of any place I frequent in the northern Jersey shore area. Everything I ever ordered there... More

Whether its your first or last stop in PPB, make sure you hit Spike's. The clams (raw) and oysters (raw) are my favorite but the menu is lengthy, full of great local seafood and close to the Part Boats to fill up coming or going.

We visited for lunch and regretted it. Their "famous" chowder was thin and below standard but the worst thing was the cleanliness or lack thereof. We went down the street to Shore Fresh and had a much better experience.
