This is always a good fallback restaurant. The food is consistently fine, the service is very friendly, but the portions are large. Typical Basque style dishes. Very good wine selections.

Hidden gem in Ironbound section. Soup was fantastic and service was top-notch. Portions are very generous, you won't leave hungry.

The owner of the restaurant is very friendly. I believe she is Maria. We parked for free in the restaurant parking lot and the owner was generous with letting us park for an extra hour to walk around iron bound following our lunch. The dining place is neat just like in the pictures. Garlic soup was served complimentary along with... More

This is not your regular Spanish food. It's authentic Catalonian taste coming from Barcelona. This restaurant is a little out of the way but it is worth going because Maria the owner will make sure you have a good meal. If you are not happy with the food she will go to the kitchen and yell at the chef (her... More

We were a party of 6 and not one disappointment with any dish. The paella was tasty, large (as are most of the portions), and full of flavor. Many dishes were most excellent - I had merluza in green sauce for the first time in many many years and it was fabulous. Reasonable pricing for the quality of the food.... More

Had dinner at Casa Vasca on a Saturday night at 5:30 pm and the place was already bustling. Everyone who worked there went out of their way to make sure every need was met. The food was good and the prices reasonable. Even though it was busy you never felt rushed to finish. When we left there was a huge... More

This is in my top 3 Spanish restaurants anywhere in the area. The chorizo, shrimp and garlic, and the fabada on select Friday's are the best. The owner greets everyone and is a family welcome place. A very nice wine list and daily specials are a must. We come every couple weeks to get satisfy our tapas and Spanish craving.

One of the two best restaurants in Newark. Bar can be a little busy a lunch, but the food is excellent and authentic.

I live in the neighborhood so just decided to try out this place. The atmosphere it's very cozy, welcoming, warm, feels like home. The stuff is very friendly , dinner was delicious. We share a paella and a Jar of sangria. And even had this guys singing anything you wanted to hear. I choose flamenco.😍
