I moved to New Brunswick recently after 26 years of working at Rutgers University. I'm exploring my new town in a new way - one bar at a time. I've eaten at Clydz and thought it was good so I decided it would be first in our weekly Wednesday night date. The atmosphere is cozy at Clydz. The wait staff... More

This appears to be a small almost bar type establishment. However inside a very nice dining room. Not quiet but the food is outstanding. This chef really cares. Both dinners were some of the best preparations I've had anywhere for strip steak (moist tender flavorful), mahi mahi crispy outside tender moist inside. Our waiter CHAD very knowledgeable about prep and... More

We actually lucked up on this place. Went to one location and did not see anything on the menu we wanted to try so the waiter recommended we come here. The drink menu is vast. I can see this as a nice spot to come and have several drinks. The food menu was quite intriguing as well. My friend/coworker and... More

The fooks at Clydz is awesome. The service is always friendly and the martin selection is out of this world. Amazing how you get a vibrant bar scene out front and an intimate dining experience in the back.

Went to clydz this weekend with a group of friends. Entered into the bar area, which I thought was a great ambiance, and decor. There were three bartenders working, they were attentive and friendly. If my visit was only for drinks this would be a rave review. After a few drinks, our entire party had arrived so we went and... More

Celebrated my husbands 60th birthday with friends before heading down the road to the comedy club. Dinner was very good. If you like entrees that are not standard, then Clydz is for you as they have wild boar, frogs legs, quail and also standard dishes like bass and chicken. Over 100 martinis makes it a fun, fun place to be!

I like to go to Clydz when there's barely anyone and enjoy the Victoria's Secret cocktail. It's a perfect little place that tends to get packed. Love their choice of music and the cozy atmosphere.

I will admit I haven't been here in 10 years. If only I could go back in time! I remember the martini menu being amazing. It was ok.The dining room was not that busy and we waited for our drinks all night. The service could have been better for the $250 we spent! The food was very good and if... More

Went with my wife for drinks and appetizers, this place has the best martinis and largest selection in the area. The appetizers are delicious and are hardy enough to stand up to the drinks.
