We were on our way back from MD and looking for a buffet or Mexican. This place had good reviews. Didn't "look" like much from outside and inside decor was dated, but I thoroughly enjoyed my fajitas. My husband had bean burrito and quessadilla #5. He said it was good but wouldn't drive a distance to go here. If we... More

We eat at a lot of Mexican restaurants. The attraction here was the proximity to the hotel and No. 1 ranking on Trip Advisor. The food here was slightly above average. I've had better Mexican food in multiple other restaurants, but also worse. Quantities were fine. As is typical with many Mexican restaurants, the food came quickly and was hot.... More

I have been to El Azteca before but somehow this time, it really impressed me. I ordered crab enchilada, it was hot and tasty! The restaurant is a local gem for an authentic, casual Mexican meal.

Great food. Cheap drinks. Decor and seats/tables need to be updated but staff is very helpful and portions are huge. $ 40 for 4 plates is amazing those days. Im glad we found that Gem. Definitely coming back

We visited for dinner while taking a long weekend trip away from home. Food was ok, not excellent, not horrible. I thought it was over priced for what it was. It is semi-authentic, with a slant towards the American palette. Staff was very warm, friendly, and prompt. Orders came out in a reasonable time, and were exactly what we ordered.... More

This place is the real deal. You can bring your own Tequila and they will provide mixer for Margaritas.

This Mexican restaurant is the best in South Jersey! Food is always delicious & served hot. Even the free chips & salsa excellent. BYOB which means they concentrate on serving excellent food, not alcoholic drinks. They do offer mixers. I've been dining at El Azteca for years & will never go anywhere else when I crave Mexican.

Delicious food, great location, nice staff. I would just say that menu could be modify to read better and have better idea of the dishes. Also decoration could be more mexican.

The food all tasted good. The portions were huge! The restaurant is in a strip mall off of a busy highway area. I had combination 31, and horchata. My husband had a super burrito and it was HUGE! If we were ever in town there again we would go back. Prices were average 40 bucks for 2 of us. No... More
