Stopped after a round of golf with my son for a late breakfast. Omelettes were perfect and homefries delicious. Staff was a bit grumpy but we're certain to go back.

Excellent food for both lunch and breakfast. We have had the oatmeal, pancakes, burgers and more. Everything is good including the coffee. Unusual burgers taste great or go plain. The coated fries are excellent. never a bad meal there.
Have had a number of breakfasts here and they never disappoint! Great menu - and I actually tried something never seen at any other restaurant - Caramel Crunch French Toast and it was delicious. I can't eat nuts and was afraid it might contain nuts (hence the "crunch") but was assured the crunch came from corn flakes. On of my... More
Went for breakfast. I had the French Toast which was the best I have ever had. My wife had pancakes, which she loved. Prices are reasonable and service is very good although the restaurant was very busy.
We stop in to the Village Kitchen for breakfast after church, on our way out to the Garden State Parkway when traveling, or a quick lunch when we don't feel like cooking at home. The food is decent and consistent, with some great specials on the board. We enjoy trying the different specials as they are creative and well prepared.... More
Place is clean, staff is attentive and the food was really good. Potatoes ha a nice flavor and the eggs were cooked perfectly. I had the homemade corned beef hash which was like none I have had before. Not bad, just different. The addition of onions have it a nice sweetness. The French toast was also excellent.
Busy but prompt service. Specials included 4 different home made soups. I had the chicken salad platter, the portion was large. My friend had a tuna salad platter, equally good. The "to go" traffic never stopped. The menu was not huge but had all the Jersey favorites. There were even home fries with bacon and cheese. Dessert was a peanut... More

The home fries were large chunks of potato that had to be cut with a knife in order to get into my mouth. Too thick & not cooked enough for that reason resulting in potatoes... More
I have been to the kitchen twice for lunch and both times the food and service has been very good. They appear to have a following for their soups. The second time I was there they had 5 very different types of soup and many people came to do take out of the soup. There sandwiches were a good size... More
