After not being there for about 10 years, I recommended to business colleagues that we eat at Panevino. When I used to live here I would often take friends to eat there. Last night when I had dinner there I was no longer impressed. The selection was relatively sparse with that just above a pizzeria. The service was slow in... More

Their salads are juicy and fresh, the organic chicken was delicious. The pizza came straight from their oven. The servers were attentive to our needs. The restaurant has a beautiful outside setting in a garden with colorful flowers. Very much recommended!

Traditional Italian menu with the usual pasta, fish and meat dishes. I suggest eating in the garden room or if the weather permits outside on the patio. The main room can be quite noisy if the restaurant is crowded. A lot of families enjoy the atmosphere.

Had a post-wedding dinner here with family and the newlyweds outside on the patio. What a gorgeous setting! Beautiful perennial gardens full of colorful flowers plus birds and butterflies just add to the charm of a good meal. Everyone's meal looked delicious. Mine was so good I could not bring myself to pack any to go! Try the orange iced... More

The food and ambiance has always been good. The chairs have never been the most comfortable. Love the "Euro-homey decor and the bar. A very good place to relax and one.

Was not the best food or service although the food and service is not bad by any means, it could be better. The ambience is the reason that you want to come here. It is beautiful, especially outside. A good place to sit and relax:)

It's got great food and it's well-run; always good service. There's a nice selection of what I'll call 'modern American/Italian' dishes; not at all your typical NJ red sauce place. Interesting salads, pastas, fish. Service is well done. There's a nice bar where you can eat or just drink. We're frequent regulars there, and for me, I usually rotate between... More

Friends met us for dinner at Panevino. We were ahead of the dinner rush so the restaurant was fairly empty. Here is what we ordered: CHOP CHOP salad - Chopped grilled chicken, arugula, apple, fennel, raisins, celery, tomatoes, citrus vinaigrette. (2) EGGPLANT PARMIGIANA - Baked eggplant, mozzarella, tomatoes, basil, Parmesan. ROASTED ORGANIC CHICKEN - Lemon, garlic, peperoncino, green beans. Overall... More

Not sure what makes locals recommend this place- it seems perhaps pure nostalgia as it is mediocre at best for food and service is terrible.
