This was such a great little place. It's a few blocks away from all the touristy stuff and more locals go that way I believe. The food was so good. All four of us tasted each other's food and everyone's dishes were delicious. The service was great and so was the fire burning behind us. Loved every minute of it.

Chose this restaurant by looking on line for a place to meet friends for lunch. One hour drive for each couple. We will definitely return to the Hawk. Service, atmosphere, drink options and food were exceptional. Each of us had a different menu item that was unique, tasted exceptional and each with great presentation. You must have lunch or dinner... More

We had a fantastic family lunch here. The atmosphere is cozy, tasteful and nice and old! We ate in the front room surrounded by original paintings and big, sunny windows. The food was mostly great. Salads were solid and fresh, the fried chicken sandwich and the mac and cheese were the winners, the brisket sandwich a bit flavorless. Don't forget... More

A friend and I had planned a long weekend in Lambertville over Halloween. I used to visit Lambertville and New Hope a lot several years ago but hadn't been back for a while and wanted to try an old favorite for dinner to see if it was still as good as before. The Inn of the Hawke was and is.... More

When you first see the inn, you might expect something a bit different, but this is a really nice informal little restaurant attached to a bar. It is at the side of the inn and has a nice outdoor courtyard for dining as well as indoor seating. The menu changes daily, but everything we had was great (which is the... More

Within a week, we ate at Inn of the Hawke twice. The outer room is typically pub-like with a bar area that serves a great selection of beers. The next room over is a simply decorated dining area and the best is the courtyard outside. Weather permitting, its the perfect place to sit outdoors. Lunch service was a bit slow,... More

We stayed here many years ago and the food was good, we were visiting the area for the day and decided to have dinner. Very casual dining, we are foodies, so are our friends. we all thought the food was mediocre and not such great choices for entrees. The server was terrible knew nothing had to keep running to the... One of the store owners told us they had very good dry rub wings. He was correct, they were quite tasty. I had a crab salad that was very good and my husband enjoyed another salad. Cute atmosphere, but acoustics were odd and it was very loud and not very crowded.

We selected this restaurant because most others were closed on Monday. We chose to sit on their patio since it was a beautiful night. The setting is lovely and the staff is attentive and professional. Although there was no bread served ( not really missed) each entree came out freshly prepared, extremely tasty and with an apology from the manager... More
