Had drinks here with the wife while waiting to proceed to our dinner reservations. Service was quick and friendly. the drinks were absolutely perfection. My wife had Bourbon Old Fashions and I drank Gin and Tonic. Sitting outdoors here was so enjoyable and relaxing.

I understand that they may not take reservations in the summer and it's first come first serve. I said ok we will get there when it opens @ 4p. I was basically told to be prepared to be turned away. I asked what the capacity...More

I have been popping in here since the early 1990's. It's a classic hometown bar with flair and style, and it's nice to know that some things never change (for the good of mankind to continue to enjoy!). I will always love this bar, and...More

You expect Greta Garbo to saunter in and order a whiskey with ginger ale on the side. Great atmosphere, skilled bartender, comfy seats, good drinks, no hassles.

Drinks only here...and classics only as well...but well worth it. The ambiance is phenomenal, and those that work here pleasant and nice. Drinks are strong.

We stopped in on a snowy evening and soaked in the Boat House ambiance for a cocktail and departed refreshed with warmth for the experience.

But the atmosphere is so great, I'm going to anyway. Hard to find which is part of the allure. Heavy amount of nautical memorabilia on every free surface of what looks like an early 20th century farmhouse converted into a two-level bar. Super casual and...More

The Boat House is very compact. There may be room on the upper floor for a small bridal shower but you would have to ask the proprietors. Also, they do not serve food.
