What a beautiful space! We sat at the bar and were very well taken care of by Anthony. Started with assiete pate's (always good) then Steak Frites for me and Bouillabase for my other half. Everything was perfect. Tart tatin and espresso with wonderful digestifs. Couldn't be better - although we will definitely be back for the wonderful Manouche Bag... More

We've been twice to the "new" Madame Claude's and my raves are only tempered by the fact that the more we say good things about it, the more crowded it'll become and the harder to drop in when whim - and hunger - strikes. (No reservations accepted for parties of less than six.) But the cellar ambience is warm and... More

One of the few brunch places that opens before 11 am. The prices are reasonable and all of the food I've had is delicious. The atmosphere is cozy and you feel like you're in France! Excellent waitstaff too.

A not so good 12.00 Croque Monsieur. the bread was very hard. I could barely cut with a serated knife. On the playe was a limp, tastless salad. Can't a french restaurant make a proper croque msr? The fries werent very good either. The lemonade was perfect. I was very disppointed with my brunch. I have lived downtown for 20... More

I have reviewed them years back when they were across the street. It was a small place with a big heart where to get your french fix in jersey city. The owners were delightful and you had to byob and cash. Now, the team is still so sympa, but the new place is cozy and nice, full bar and take... More

Had the best time here! The place looks beautiful with a warm, authentic atmosphere. The music on Thursday was amazing and really added to the ambiance. The food was terrific and I can't wait to return.Great drinks too! Best place I've been to in Jersey City.

My friend ordered the Escargot appetizer & (one of) the Mussels (dishes). I tasted the escargot; it was fine (nothing special). I did not taste the Mussels but he commented that they were very small. It appeared to me that the majority of the bowl was bread on the bottom with all the sauce; for $17 the (portion of) mussels... More

Madame Claude has been in my neighborhood since, forever. I have never had a bad meal nor service. It's consistently good to the core.

Came here with friends. This place is kinda hidden, but inside has a great atmosphere. We got a bunch of different drinks and pick on foods. The oysters and flourless cake were my favorites. Anthony, the bartender, was fantastic. Absolutely incredible service. Can't wait to come back here!

I came here for a holiday dinner with nine colleagues. Everyone raved about the food. I had a lentil salad which was delightful but much too big as an appetizer! I followed that with the salmon which was pan seared and served with a medley of seasonal vegetables. Again, perfect! Presentation was well done and the bread was great. For... More
