The Hamilton Inn serves up excellent food. The hamburgers are truly charcoal-grilled--many advertise that they charcoal-grill but this place really knows how to do it. Everybody in our party was very pleased with their dining experience.

Cozy place for locals. It gets packed on week end brunch. Friendly barman and bargirl. Our favorites include the eggs pizza with truffle oil and the tuna tartare. Menu has something for everyone like lamburger, fish tacos and salads. Nor cheap or pricey. You can dine well for under $25.

Great time, food was good/ average. We all likevwhat we ate and were satisfied. Service was good as we recieved our food rather timely. I would come back the lobster roll. I was expect more w/ the drinks as i heard they were very good.

I got the pineapple bellini with the breakfast burrito. Good bellini. I asked for a little spicy burrito. But i got rice and beans with jalapeños. The scramble was pretty hidden. Good home fries on the side. Wife got the coffee and avacado toast. Eggs were poached well. It was a good choice on her part. They should look into... More

Love this quaint restaurant. This place is very busy and seating is limited, so reservations are a good idea. They offer some really inventive cocktails. The Cucumbers & Berries had a nice light taste, and not at all sweet. This was our favorite, but the Aaron Bourbon was also very nice. We tried the tuna burgers, as well as the... More

We were in the area and had Hamilton Inn on out bucket list. It was Wednesday night so the blue point oysters, normally $2.95, were offered for $1 each and their specialty cocktails were half price. We ordered a dozen oysters, the Greek Kale salad, French Dip and the East LA Tacos. The oysters were a bargain (though you can... More

the appetizers and starters were all great, but the entrees left a lot to be desired. It was a very hot day out and when we asked about the AC, the waitress said she could make it cooler. by the end of the meal the entire table was sweating and we noticed the back of the restaurant was much cooler.... Visiting Jersey City just for the night before we ventured over into the city. Friends suggested the Hamilton Inn and from the start I loved the location and the decor. We chose to sIt outside on this crisp August evening so I really didn't get a chance to check out the inside but there was plentiful seating for those wanting... More
