Always consistent quality fresh food. Some of the best crabcakes I've ever had anywhere. Also great desserts,

We live in town and frequent Peasant Grill often. The food is fabulous. We love the soups and homemade crackers. Some favorites are flank steak pesto sandwich, caesar wrap, and paninis. Easy carry out of enjoy inside or outside eating. They will also make up a simple sandwich if you have picky kids.
Cam here with my daughter and we were seated at this very busy weekday restaurant. The owner and his wife were very friendly and helped us order some good lunch suggestions. They make great sandwiches, pasta salads and amazing soups! My daughter was having a good time and we came out being full and happy from the meal. Great lunch... More
I went there one day with a co-worker and have gone back 3 more times. And going back again tomorrow. The food is fresh, the homemade salads are amazing and the workers are very friendly. I'm just very sorry that I am moving out of state and won't get a chance after tomorrow to visit here again for lunch.
Our first time here, but loved it. All the food was fresh and delicious, friendly staff, would definitely go back with friends.
This is our go-to spot when we want good, consistent, healthy choices for take out or eat in. My favorite go-to is the spinach salad/quiche combo. All baking is done in house and is FABULOUS! the quiche is lighter than any I have had. The daily specials are always interesting but you have to get there early before they run... More
Absolutely rude - the woman (who may be the owner) at the counter taking orders was the rudest restaurant worker I've ever encountered. She was rude, sarcastic and belittling to the elderly women in front of us in line. And then when my friend and I, with our two 6 year olds, simply inquires about getting a grilled cheese sandwich,... More
Met a friend for lunch and so happy we ate here! The food delicious - everything homemade, staff terrific and a fun/friendly atmosphere! Had the turkey sandwich with cranberry mayo on pumpernickel and it was delicious! Can't wait to go back!
This very small restaurant seems to do as much take-out business as eat-in. These people know their business. Food is very good, whether it's macaroni and cheese or crab cakes. Can be rich. Deserts are superior. "Perhaps "a little pricey" as another reviewer said, but never disappointing. We keep going back. Have eaten in, used take-out, and taken friends. Recommend.
What I like about the Pheasant Grill was the ordinary made extraordinary . The turkey Sandwich became roasted Turkey breast, with cranberry mayo, lefty green lettuce so big it took two hands to hold it. choice of soup or salad. Regular Soup became Split pea with Italian Sausage, Black Bean became Vegy Black Beasn. . This list goes of possibilities... More
