Great atmosphere, friendly staff, and even better food. Have come here just for dinner and have had larger parties here, favorite place in town.

Met friends half way between our homes. Rocco's got good reviews on Trip Advisor so we decided to take a chance. It is a real gem. A tavern with great service, great menu, and exceptional food. Made a reservation and our table was ready when we arrived. Our waitress was excellent, and she answered all our questions about the menu.... More

My wife and I have visited here twice now, and will make it part of our Hammonton circuit. Friendly bartenders, a great craft beer list of local brews, and good bar food. Definitely worth a visit!

Quite frankly, I was pleasantly surprised, expecting a bar food scene. We came on a Saturday night, later in the evening. The first thing that caught my eye was the blackboard with the names of the local farms/purveyors that the kitchen uses. It's so nice to see that local produce is used. We ordered a flat bread with local veggies... More

This place is a hidden gem! We had rooster fries (awesome) and wings for appetizer. The scallops and risotto with fresh spinach and tomatoes was a 10 out of 10. Also tried the desserts, ricotta cheese pie, wonderful. Delicious food and top service. We will definitely return again...and again!

Most of the time I've eaten at this restaurant due to its proximity to Marinella's funeral home which is across the street. It is often the restaurant of choice for funeral luncheons since it is literally right across the street. The usual fare for the luncheons consists of some sort of pasta, chicken, salads and breads, coffee and other drinks.... More

Rocco's I would say is the "Cheers" of Hammonton. A very comfortable restaurant with friendly staff and good food! If craft beers is your thing, they have a good selection. Menu has lots of interesting options. Their Ahi tuna is the best, as a starter, or meal size salad. Food is always good!! You won't be disappointed.

Putting aside the friendly service, the involved owners and the great bar selections, the food here is fantastic. Well worth the 45 minute trip from our home. For appetizers, the rooster fries (sweet soy sauce, scallions, sriracha and cheese) and Belgian mussels (bacon, garlic, leeks in a beer sauce) are amazing. For dinner, everything I've tried has been great, including... More

Description
Everyone Meets at The Town House

Years ago townspeople would meet in taverns to discuss and debate the issues of the day. They would often refer to their local taverns as the 'town house' (a precursor to the town hall).

In 1949 this tavern opened as The Town House and has continued to provide the people of this town a place to gather, to eat, to drink and still discuss the important issues of the day.
