If you visit Edison, NJ and want a unique food experience, Harold's is a great stop. Food is overall pretty good with some hits and misses here and there as with every restaurant. The wow factor with Harold's though is the GINORMOUS food portions. Like ridiculously large. Prices on the menu reflect the large quantities but most orders are meant... More

Come with an appetite and even then it is best with a group of people. The cold cuts are fresh and delicious. Best pastrami and turkey I have had anywhere (and the rye bread is very good also). The portions are ridiculously huge so be careful and understand the size of the portion before ordering.

On our way back from church on Sunday we stopped by with some people who have never experienced Harolds before. It's always fun to see their faces when they see how large the portions and sandwiches are. Got the matzo ball soup to start and the matzo balls are the size of my head. Got the 2 meat sandwich with... More

Sandwiches are very big and huge (two sizes). Free Salad bar. Very large cakes to the left as you walk in. If you like deli then now the Carnegie has closed this is it. Two locations but go to Edison first. Be aware the sandwiches are expensive . You get what you pay for.

Harold's is an institution. Good Jewish Deli food. Mega servings. Be sure to order for 2 or be prepared to take home leftovers.. I love the corned beef and my wife has pastrami. Both were very very good..

They are clearly good at what they do so not going to mark down just because it's not my thing. Everyone hears about the US attitude to food and this is it in a nutshell. Growing up being taught to not be greedy and not to waste food this place is jarring.

Get the kid menu! Oh wow they really think I'm that hungry! The first time I came here was the year 2012. Hubby took me when we were still dating. I remember we had a big piece of steak meat or something but I only ate a little bit. This Harold guy must be feeding lots of people over the... More

Went with my brother and his family. He told me we were going to a deli At first it looked like it was some desolate truck stop until we arrived at the parking nearer to the entrance. It seems to be a dining option for an adjacent hotel (forgot hotel name). Wow! The word "Deli" was an understatement. The first... More

Everything your cardiologist told you to avoid, but it tastes absolutely wonderful. The pastrami and corned beef sandwiches are bigger and better than the recently departed Carnegie Deli in NYC. All portions are HUGE and designed to be shared by a friend or two. Desserts are to die for. A great treat for the guys once a year or so,... More

This is an awesome deli! The size of the sandwiches are ginormous! Share one with two or three people. There is extra bread on the pickle bar. The meat is lean, tasty and fresh. The pickles on the bar are amazing... I could go and just eat pickles! No need to go to NYC when Harolds is right here in... More
