This is a beautiful 200 year old building and an incredible atmosphere, but the food and service was pretty terrible. My 3 daughters ordered chicken fingers which came out half cooked and inedible. My wife order the "special" which was a buffalo chicken wrap. This was the exact same chicken fingers they used as a kids mean, just with buffalo... More

Went on a weeknight with two friends and sat at a table in the bar area. The Bartender was also our waitress and very friendly and attentive. I love the exposed brick and rustic interior of the dining area! They were playing great old school music overhead and the atmosphere is friendly. I ordered the Chicken Nachos appetizer which was... Go here regularly with the family. The kids love the pizza and we always feel comfortable with 3 young children. It has a great old feel with the fireplace etc. The food can be hit or miss, however. Sometimes its excellent, sometimes not so much. We'll continue to go back regardless.

Pizza really good. Prices a bit high staff issues. Not that friendly to outsiders! Most of menu not that good!

Have been here several times, this time pretty disappointing. Food was just okay - salmon, mashed potatoes VERY BLAND. Service was not good at all. Pretty bad when your waitress spills entire glass of ice water and you sit through dinner cold and wet, because you got hit with the ice water and nothing is offered as compensation. While I... Casual, quiet and excellent food! Also an inn for travelers or just a romantic stay. Plenty of parking behind inn.

Charming old building in a great town. Plenty of self parking behind the restaurant. Their rolls are served warm and were very tasty. Had a steak - medium rare - cooked perfectly & delicious & tender. Their chocolate cake was to die for

This is an old stagecoach stop from the 1800's and charming restaurant but showing its age. We were seated outside on the front porch for lunch but as it was "Indian summer" weather and in the 80's, we moved inside. The taco salad and pulled pork sandwich were good choices. The calamari was tough and I've had better. The iced... More

The only thing good about the Publick House is the parking lot in the back. Really ! Went here with family and friends this past Sunday for lunch. Arrived about 12:15PM - no crowds, a few full tables outside, virtually empty inside. Why should it take 15 minutes for someone to acknowledge us and ask for our drink order? It's... More
