Real busy restaurant. Wife and I were lucky to get an immediate seat. I had lobster roll, wife had crab cakes. Meat on both sandwiches were ground too finely. Plenty of lobster roll for a decent price. Both lobster roll and crab cakes were quite tasty.

Wife & I stopped into the Ugly Mug for a quick lunch. Wife ordered a chef salad; it was gigantic - too much. I ordered a burrito which also was gigantic - too much.

3 1/2 stars. We usually stop here when visiting Cape May. It's a nice place. Can get crowded. Typical bar food. Burgers are great. Flat bread pizza was ok. Different styles of beer on tap including IPA 's. Live music at times. Nice atmosphere. Staff is friendly. Nice place to stop for a drink and a burger.

We always enjoy lunch here whenever we visit Cape May. Great atmosphere and delicious food! Favorite is the Crab Mug dish on a chilly day.

In the Washington street mall area with friends. Stopped for a couple of cocktails; fun bar to hang with friends.

This place has a great atmosphere. The food is good. It's one of those places you need to visit and have their Chili.

This is a must stop for us when we visit Cape May. The food and atmosphere is well worth it. It is crowded, especially in peak months, but worth the wait. Love the mugs on the ceilings. Love it so much that the kids now stop when they are there, keeping the tradition alive. The food is very good and affordable.... More

We went to Cape May to visit the butterfly migration. We had no idea where to eat. We saw the UGLY MUG, and the attention of the atmosphere brought us right in. When you walk in you are a bit anxious, because they have a lot of really cool stuff to look at. THEY DO HAVE UGLY MUGS HANGING ALL... More

Big Sandwich, Cold Beer, fun atmosphere...the food was deli sh with a good selection of beers. We sat at the bar and our bartender was friendly and good. Will definitely come back again. They are also open all winter long.
