AMAZING meal. Maybe the best we've ever had. Here's the breakdown: Atmosphere: super cool vibe and not too noisy Service: Perfect. Kind staff and the pacing of the meal is awesome. The tapas come out about every 15 minutes so you can enjoy them one (or two) at a time Food: Of course this is the best part! We had... More

I've celebrated many occasions here such as birthdays, girls nights, etc. I have never once been disappointed. Everything here is absolutely amazing from the food, drinks, and service! Always a must done when in the area.

We've been visiting Moxy for several years and they consistently manage to serve up really terrific food without fail. The menu changes over time, though some things (like the incredible white bean spread appetizer) remain available. Described as "ultra-locavore" the food indeed is for the most part local farm-to-table. Dishes are creative and almost always delicious. A unique American take... More

Went for dinner with my husband. The menu sounded really fun (both descriptions themselves and the food) so we were excited. Settled in with a glass of wine and made 5 selections to share. The highlights of the selections were the johnny cake community (a bit bigger dish) and the fried clams. The other three were frankly uneventful (short rib... More

When magazines rate Moxy in Portsmouth, New Hampshire as "one of the best restaurants in New England," we had to try it. Our high expectations were met with a friendly server named Remi, who seemed happy to be there. 1. Kale with pumpkin seen granola bar. $4. Delicious but oily. 2. Mushrooms. Shoved onto an oversized plate, these awkward fungi... More

This is the place to go if you want to try outstanding small plates. Great if you go with a small crowd, so that you can share and discover. Our waitress was great and explained most of the menu and cocktails. She suggested that we order all at once (for at least a first round) and she would pace out... More

Have been to Moxy several times. Most recent was October 2016 and the food and service was excellent again! Great by-the-glass wine list that is by number and description rather than by name... their unique way of encouraging you to try something different... and we did! They'll tell you what it is before you order if you must, but that... More

Really nice variety of small plates here. All were artfully plated and delicious. More about quality than quantity. Service was Spot On.

This smallish place is comfortable and no pretentious. The wait staff were excellent. The wine list intriguing. And the food was even better. The dishes featured unusual combinations, described by other reviewers, that worked well together. I loved the rabbit dishes especially.

Walked in on a Monday night. No reservation required. Friendly staff, but the food omg yum.... highlights were pork belly bites, pork ribs and the chicken sandwich but frankly it was all really good!! Even better it's locally sourced, so you can feel socially responsible about eating that little bit too much. Young, fun vibe with a top 20 playlist.
