What a friendly little place! I had a crepe with butter and brown sugar! Parking is across the street. I will definitely visit the restaurant again

went here again to have breakfast and even though it was 06:15 in the morning we could not get in the lights were all on and phone didn't work
This has always been one of our favorite diners, and it still is- when we have time to spare. We went there for brunch a couple of weeks ago, and service was SLOW; one table that was not cleared when we arrived was still dirty...when we got our food almost an hour later. I had to get menus for us since it took over a quarter hour for a waitress to come over, and the 45 minutes to get Pork Pie breakfast and an Omelet breakfast. Food was still great, but we will now only go back there when we have a lot of time to spare.More
This has always been one of our favorite places when in Manchester NH, and based on the food it still will be. However, after not going there for almost a year (for no particular reason), we went there for brunch a couple of Sundays ago....It's a small diner, perhaps ten booths and a six seat counter, very homey. The food was still great, but the service was incredibly slow, and disorganized. One table that was in need of bussing (clearing of dirty dishes and debris) when we arrived was still not cleared when we got our food almost 45 minutes after we sat down. It took 15 minutes for someone to come over to us after we were seated, and by then I had gotten menus for us from the service station. The management, both owners and shift staff, really need to get their act together. We will definitely go back again because the food was great (pork pie breakfast and a terrific omelet were our choices) but only when we have a lot of time.More
We've had good luck here when we've visited. Sundays can be busy and you may have to wait for a spot. Waitress is usually good about refilling water and coffee. Food is pretty quick and prices are good. You can even find gluten free options.
Checked out the reviews we visited this small diner. They were right on. Located in a small neighborhood you could almost miss it driving around. Place was packed on a late Saturday morning. Great breakfast menu. Had the Hash sizzler. Excellent. Coffee and OJ. Service...was very friendly and prompt. This is the place to go after a concert or late night before. Only open to 1pm on Saturday.More
I came back after a few undesirable experienced. I heard there was a new cook! My Greek omelette was perfect, as were the homefries, bacon, ham, and pancakes. We will be back!
Loved the personality of the 2 waitresses on today at 9am! Friendly, fast, and smiled!! My Greek omelette was perfectly cooked and it was fresh. My partner's eggs Benny was great and he gets it every time. It's a small place, a little home in...the wall, but it gets packed.More
You have to come here! Food is served hot, with friendly service. My Greek omelette was perfectly folded and my grilled English muffin and homefries were seasoned well. My son's had pancakes, baked beans, kielbasa, biscuits and gravy, toast and my 18 year old had...to bring his pancake home... he could only eat one!More
This diner is located in a residential neighborhood not on the beaten path. They have a large selection of breakfast dishes, including skillets and omelets. If you like hollandaise sauce, there are several dishes covered in it. It would nice if they had a larger...selection of pancakes and waffles. I ordered the banana walnut waffle, which was one of the specials. I had to change my order because they ran out of bananas. The place is quite small so you might have to wait. The service was friendly and efficient. Margie's serves only breakfast and lunch.More
This was not a good choice. A lot of people gave them 4 or 5 stars but I don’t know why. I ordered the classic over easy with Italian sausage. The eggs were over cooked almost like hard boiled, the sausage was the same, way...over cooked, dry and 0 juices. This came with potato pancakes which were way under cooked, scorched outside but almost raw inside. The sourdough toast was good and perfectly toasted. My wife got Eggs Benedict with hash browns, her eggs were cooked well but the Benedict sauce had no flavor and was a little runny. Her hash browns were cooked the same as the potato pancake, scorched outside and almost raw in the middle. The good points are that our server was great and so was the coffee. Not a return spot.More
I always enjoy a trip to Margie's Dream for either breakfast or lunch. It's a warm and cozy sort of place. It's not large so it fills up easily. Food is good and they have potato pancakes which most places don't serve. Not fancy but...decent with friendly and decent service. Prices are moderate.More
We went Tuesday morning at around 8:30 and got a table no problem. I ordered the Greek omelette, grilled English muffin and shredded potatoes. By far this is the best omelette I've ever had! Folded and cooked perfectly, stuffed with Greek goodness to the max!...The Texas style French toast was good too! We love this place!More
Great breakfast, large servings. Short stack pancakes (2) and waffle, plus sausage patties and home fries - more than the two of us could finish, and good! Big mugs of coffee and hot chocolate. In a small old house with the first floor converted to...a diner, with grille, kitchen, counter with stools, and tables. And every table filled and a waiting line on the Saturday AM we were there. Old style charm, no chain-restaurant feeling here. Only open for breakfast and lunch, with takeout available.More
Was looking for a breakfast spot recently and wanted to try a new place. This place is at the northern end of S. Willow St, so probably doesn't get the traffic that other places get. A quiet surprise, a bit different from the other local...places (Red Arrow, Airport Diner, etc). We've also been to the Red Barn Diner in Manchester and prefer Margies over that one. Small place - only 8 tables (4 seats each) plus 5 stools at the counter. Went there on a Monday (holiday) around 11. About 10 customers in the place. Menu was a bit limited but you should be able to find something you like. They also serve lunch (Sunday - breakfast only). There was only 1 waitress but she handled everyone pretty well. One of us got a veggie omelet (no broccoli available) with spinach, onions, etc. Came with a potato pancake that they didn't really care for, and toast. I got a caveman breakfast skillet - steak tips, onions, mushrooms (they had to substitute kielbasa for sausage - all out). Came with 2 eggs (cooked a little bit too long) and toast. Coffee was standard. Asked for some spanikopita to go and was told they were all out. Overall a decent experience and would definitely consider going back.More
