We visited The Beal House - it was the last night before closing for the shoulder season. We did not stay there but had dinner. The dining room was cozy. Bartender and server both came to our table a few times working together to get our drinks and meals served. Everyone was more than friendly. The food was good. We... More

In Littleton for the weekend, I had to make a very difficult decision tonight... where to go eat for my birthday dinner... so many restaurants I love in this town! We decided to try The Beal House and I absolutely loved it. Great atmosphere with music just right, dimmed lights and candles, in a very old Inn with amazing wooden... More

Had a very enjoyable meal today, including littlenecks, Brussels sprouts salad, duck, BBQ pork, and creme brûlée, about $100 for 2 with a few drinks. Beautiful old tavern space, adult servers, quiet and dark. Except for the tv over the bar showing that reality series with naked people surviving in the wild. Nobody needs to see that with appetizers. The... More

I ended up in Littleton NH accidentally, due to the illness of a friend that required a hospital stay nearby. After a long day in the ER, I was looking for a quiet place to recover, and found it at the Beal House restaurant. The restaurant is in two parts: the smaller is brighter with about 4 tables; the larger... More

The food was delicious, just not enough for the price. We had an appetizer which consisted of a small spaghetti squash patty, two entrees( one a burger and fries and one linguine with braised beef and mushrooms which actually contain only four small tiny pieces of beef), no drinks just water and the bill was $53. plus a tip. The... More

We had dinner at The Beal House by recommendation of the friend whose home we're staying in for the weekend. It was easy to find and looked the part of an Old New England home. Great feel; tavern had exposed wood beams, wide plank floors and a cute bar. We sat at a table for two and waiting longer than... More

Service was great and the food was terrific. We had the fried chicken (sooo moist - with a great bite of pepper!) and an amazing cod dish. Ignore all reviews from before Dec 2015 when the new owners took over. Look forward to returning!

My favorite spot to grab an amazing meal and cocktail in Littleton area. The atmosphere is incredibly warm and inviting. The staff are all wonderful people and the owner who is also the head chef is very present and friendly. They support local farms on their menu, and being a local myself, I enjoy getting to know the people behind... More
