We have been going to this restaurant for many years-since it was called Nothing Fancy which is still true. The Mexican food is great as well as the margharetta's. The nacho's and salsa to start are great-I could make a meal out of them. I think over the years we have tried just about everything on the menu. If you... More

Tasty Mexican food with a good choice for vegetarians. Big portions and good value. Service was fast and friendly. It is a pub / diner with a nice atmosphere, ales on tap and I would definatley visit again.

Fun, very casual bar atmosphere that was recommended to us. The service & staff were excellent as were the drinks & pricing. However, sadly, these were the worst tacos I've ever eaten & that includes the guacamole. Their salsa & chips we enjoyed. Sorry that I can't recommend it for the food but head over for the great drinks.

The last place I expected to go on a Summer weekend away was a Mexican restaurant but we really enjoyed it. It was cool inside and although it looks small, there was a decent amount of seating. The service was great, our food came quickly, and the kids were occupied with coloring that they were excited to pin to the... More

I very much enjoyed my meal, loved that most of the choices were build your own (because I'm a vegetarian). It was the only restaurant on the strip that we were interested in eating at. The service was very good. It's pretty clean, though a bit of a dive atmosphere. I would eat there again if in the area.

My wife and I have been going to the Crazy Gringo for over 6 years whenever we go to Laconia, usually for a Summer vacation. We had always been very satisfied, but this year, not so much. The food came out way too soon after we ordered for it to have been made on order, we had to ask for... More

We've been coming to the Lakes Region for years, and were so pleasantly surprised by this restaurant, which we hadn't visited before for some reason. Wow, we should have. It had a great staff, great food, and a welcome respite from the heat and activity of Weirs Beach. What a find!

Sitting here now eating and am extremely disappointed. Nice atmosphere, bar area. Ordered chicken fingers as an appetizer. Obvious frozen bag chicken pieces. Gross. Ordered two tacos and the beef one tastes exactly like store bought Mexican seasoning. Tortillas are straight from the bag. Blah. The nachos and salsa were completely bland. Feel like I want to go eat somewhere... More

Fun for the bar crowd, but lousy and expensive mexican food. Charge for every little extra. Sour cream, Guac and sauce usually comes on a chimichanga. And my daughter got cheap taco sauce like taco bell packets for her taco.
