Stopped here for breakfast one morning while staying in Jefferson to visit Santa's Village. It was not crowded, service was fast, and portions of carbohydrates are huge! I'd stop here again if I'm in town. Coffee was on my mind most of all, and it was hot and they kept the refills coming.
Amazing cornbread, I probably could eat just that and be happy and content. I got the "Mount Jefferson" which is a pancake, egg, homefries, and your choice of meat. Choose the sausage. It's locally made, juicy and so flavorful. The blueberry pancake is larger than your head. And incredibly delicious. The place can become busy, but it's worth the wait.
It's hard for me to get excited about a breakfast restaurant as I feel you have to go out of your way to really screw up flapjacks or eggs but this place does a really good job of making theses items better than they usually are. I know they're the only choice you have here in the booming metropolis of... More
This is a required breakfast stop whenever we're in the area. The food is always top notch. The prices are definitely family friendly and the portion sizes are more than generous. Get here early...as it fills up quick!!!
Whenever we visit this area of New Hampshire we have breakfast at the Water Wheel. Its worth driving several miles to eat here. The breakfast is wonderful and homemade. This time we enjoyed the pumpkin pancakes, southwestern omelet and even a wonderful Belgian waffle. Great variety and plenty of food at a very reasonable price. There is also a very... More
You might think because this is like the only breakfast place in town and that's why it is number 1. So wrong this place was so worth the 15 min wait graze through the gift shop. You have pancakes the size of your head for under $3.00 with real maple syrup. My dad is a big eater and he Ordered... More
Stopped by this place the morning on our way to the Cog Railway. The waitress was exceptionally pleasant and the location extremely easy to find. Parking is really tight, especially on a busy day. We went on a saturday and got there the place was empty. Pretty soon it filled up and there were people waiting to be seated. Our... More
Before I get into this review, I want to make clear that the food on offer really is good and well priced. But, there are many buts... On the wall in the Waterwheel is a quote about patience (see photo) and boy do you need it here. We are a European couple and stopped here on our New England road... More
Food was great and cheap. Huge pancakes. Service is a little on the slower side, but we weren't in a rush so it didn't bother us. The food was totally worth it.

My Dad and I live in Sugar Hill and have wanted to come in for Breakfast sometime. What are your Current Days open and times. He is 91 and eats light.
