We spent the weekend skiing in the region and needed good coffee to start and end our days in the cold. The White Mountain Cafe hit the spot with nicely crafted Americanos and delicious hot chocolate for the kids. We didn't have time to spend lounging or browsing the book selection, but it seemed inviting. I am not aware of... More

Stopped on our way out of town for coffee and a breakfast sandwich. The most delicious vegetarian sausage on a bagel with egg and cheese! We can not wait to go back!

The beverage selection is extensive... just reading the board is fun. The coffees and chais are wonderful. I had the bacon quiche which was terrific and someday I want to go there with a lot of money and eat every pastry and biscotti in the place. The staff is very pleasant and Riley took excellent care of us! I had... More

We had spent the morning looking at the beautiful fall foliage in and around the area. When it was time for lunch, each of the restaurants we had chosen was closed. We had just about given up eating locally when by happenstance we found ourselves next door to the White Mountain Cafe and Bookstore. After checking a couple of restaurant... More

Coffee was fine, but the baristas weren't exactly friendly. Seemed annoyed by us, actually. I find that off putting from people in the service industry.

Morning hunt for coffee led us past the ubiquitous Dunkin' and straight into charm. Best coffee of the trip, wish we hadn't shared a muffin - so good! Unique interior. Go Local!

We stopped here before heading up the Mt. Washington Auto Road to grab a couple of sandwiches. The sandwiches were very good and you could tell they were freshly made. The sandwiches were fairly reasonable in price for what you got - they were definitely large! Chips do come with your sandwich, which the girl didn't bother to tell us,... More

... when this gem of a local cafe is essentially right across the street. Great morning stop for coffee, bagel, pastry, or fresh-made breakfast sandwich. Support a great local business in Gorham. Very popular with hikers.

Drove through Gorham looking for a coffee shop and always preferring local businesses (as opposed to Dunkin Donuts which are everywhere in NH) we pulled into the White Mtn Cafe & Bookstore. What a great find! Smallish but good selection of coffees and drinks, delicious menu (so much we had an early lunch) and a book selection that married lots... More

We stumbled across this coffee shop and were delighted that it tasted so good. No need for an extra shot here
