Good menu, excellent service and delicious food. Prices were reasonable. Smaller tables and rooms separated made it quiet and quaint.

A very cozy spot that we like to frequent! The menu is diverse but frankly, we usually don't get past the specials as last time it was the Shepherd's pie and a cavatappi pasta dish.... Portions are generous and the waitstaff are all very kind and attentive! Great spot on a snowy evening as well!
She requested this for her birthday dinner. She also invited her girlfriend and spouse. We made a reservation for Saturday night at 6 pm in the restaurant not the pub. When we arrived there was no one in the restaurant but the Pub was full. Shortly after we were seated one other person was seated 2 tables away from us.... More
Let me first apologize for your experience here at the Inn at Crystal Lake. I feel particularly sorry because it was for a special occasion - but nobody should have that poor of an experience no matter the reason. I will certainly talk to my waitstaff and kitchen about the issues. As you can imagine, with a relatively small business... More
Traveling north, we stopped for dinner at the Pub. We were greeted warmly by locals when we entered, which is refreshing. The pub is very cozy but not crowded. The food was excellent. I had housemate mac and cheese with slab bacon that was more than I could eat. My golf partner had shepherd's pie that he loved. He also... More
If you are looking for a fun, funky, cozy place with great food, this is it. The walls are covered with local memorabilia. The owners and wait staff are friendly and accommodating. The food is great and there is always something tempting on the menu. Try the Palmer House salad....yum!
Sorry for the delay in responding, but I wanted to take the time to thank you for you kind review! Hope to have you back soon!! More
Have been coming here for 15 years, live in the area. Tim and Bobby are the best. Tim makes the best cosmos . Opera night can be very exciting . Never had a bad meal. Love so much keep up the good work.
Our family group ate dinner on a very cold winter night and enjoyed enormously the fun and funny decor, friendly service, and good food. We had warming fare (shepherd's pie) and the kids had the pasta special (with sauce on the side) that they enjoyed. They do not have a kids menu, but several items that should be acceptable to... I had perhaps the best Caesar salad ever on Saturday night. My kids enjoyed homemade Chicken Pot Pie and Mac & Cheese from scratch. The Key Lime Pie is sky high, light and delicious. Cozy and delightful. I can't decide if it's better in the summer, or when the snow is swirling outside in January!
Thank you so much for your review - I agree that our Caesar dressing is delicious! Hope to have you back soon. More
We have been here many times since moving to Eaton 2 years ago and it always feels like visiting with friends. The bar sits just off the main dining room and is pretty much the quintessential cozy pub. The decor is fantastic: thousands of little pictures, postcards, and momentos collected over the years cover almost every surface in the pub;... More
Thanks for your glowing review - we really appreciate it. Monty will be waiting for your return!! More
The Palmer House pub is part of the Inn At Crystal Lake. We stayed at the inn for our 44th anniversary & had a couple of drinks in the pub. Tim, owner & bar tender makes a great bloody mary. Love the just right zing to the drink accompanied with two large olives. Nice cozy pub with a couple of... More
