I tried the Wilderness for dinner my first night. I picked the hot roast beef sandwich thinking it would be a safe choice. In short my shoes would have tasted better. I did not go back for the week I was there. In fairness, I saw a consistent line of pick up trucks early each morning for breakfast so it's... More

We stopped in here after talking to some locals and they highly recommended it to us. By the looks out front you would never kn ow about the wonderful food and service inside. Very quaint rustic interior with a real north woods flavor. Waitress was perfect, friendly and attentive, the prices are fair and the amount of food was not... More

The Wilderness has been our go-to place for good food and a very reasonable price. We have been there often and always had good food with very friendly service. They don't have a problem with special requests with the food and were quick to please in any way they could.

We stopped by this place on the way to Montreal. It's a nondescript local restaurant that serves tasty homemade sandwiches and desserts. The hot turkey sandwich was delicious! Thank you for the good food.

We arrived at 8pm. I ordered the 16oz ribeye, my son (16) ordered hotdog and beans. The service was prompt and friendly. Both were solid, health meals - just what we needed on the road. The portions were big - neither of us finished everything on our plates. The ribeye was great. The mash potato, gravy, and bread were fine... More
