A long time friend asked if I wanted to go to the Bonanza Casino and eat breakfast and play some pennies afterwards--I said I'm game and this morning off we went. I'd never been here before. It is located in the northern part of Reno. The casino is older, not real fancy, but clean and the staff very friendly. The... More

We love going to the Bonanza and eating at the Branding Iron Café. The specials are a great price, excellent food and service with a smile. We always ask to be placed in Jenny's section because of her excellent service.

This place rocks! The price of the Sunday brunch buffet was just $10! Although the variety of items on the buffet is limited, it has all you want. The food was GREAT. The service was AWESOME. Don't miss eating here!

This has become one of our favorite places to eat at on Wednesday's. For $3.95 you can have AYCE spaghetti with meat sauce and it is a very tasty sauce, lots of spaghetti and fresh parmesean cheese. Please note that they do charge extra for meatballs, salad and garlic bread but you can get extra meat sauce at no extra... More

We had lunch here recently and it was okay. . . they do not have a kid's menu, which limits their options and inflates the total bill and the service was extraordinarily slow. The staff was very pleasant and beverages were kept full but it took a very long time to get our food after ordering and even longer to... More

The Branding Iron cafe is the coffee shop in the small Bonanza Casino, about two miles north of the University of Nevada - Reno campus on Virginia Street. (This is the same property that houses the gourmet steak restaurant, Cactus Creek.) The decline in casino gaming has forced most casino coffee shops to close late at night, but the Branding... More

Within ten minutes of where we live in Reno, it's a nice spot to have $7.77 T-bone steak on Tuesdays. A lot of casino's offer similar deals but this is a good steak, at least the 3 or 4 times I've had it. Certainly not the best restaurant in town, but we like going there and they always have good...
