A great place for Italian food. The prices are fair, the service usually very good and the food is excellent. They also have a fine selection of wines. I highly recommend this restaurant, I don't think you'll be disappointed.

Four of us were in Reno and tired of eating at the Casinos. When we opened the door, the wonderful smells filled our noses. We had reservations and were immediately seated. The waitress made us feel welcome and answered questions we had re the menu. One of us ordered the pasta with shrimp, mussels, scallops in a marinara sauce, He... More

As a long time patron of La Famiglia, I can say without reservation we have never been disappointed! The owners are warm and sincere and the staff is alert and attentive. The Lobster Ravioli is worth the trip! Enjoy! Reservations recommend.

We like to eat at Italian restaurants with our in-laws, & after trying most of the Italian spots in Reno/Sparks, we decided to give La Famiglia Ristorante a shot. We made reservations (always a good idea) & were given our choice of any table to sit at except the corner table. (Maybe they were waiting for Don Corleone...?) The hostess/server... More

First time, dining with friends and business acquaintances. Appetizers (mostly salads) were good and tasty, main courses were good (fish of day) to excellent (pasta dishes). They have some remarkable wine choices. Above all, extremely friendly and competent service. Overall most enjoyable evening.

Having never eaten here before, a birthday celebration seemed like a perfect time to give it a try and we were glad we did! Excellent food, and attentive service. Fresh, yummy bread and water was served once seated. I had the Penne con Pollo [Grilled chicken breast, sundried tomato, mushrooms, pinenuts, roasted garlic & creamy marinara] $21 There was plenty... 4 of us made reservations prior to attending the Pioneer Theater and we thoroughly enjoyed our evening. We were seated immediately, our server was delightful although she seemed to be a relatively new server and our food was very good. The wine list provided us a nice selection. The only rub for me was that I had the Lobster Ravioli... More

Very nice restaurant (new and modern but not stuffy). I had been to their old location years ago but like the new location much better. Service was great and food as well. Calamari steak, mare (seafood pasta), lasagna was very tasty. Nice experience.

Had great food and great service! I do feel like a second class citizen by the Maitre D. He tends to want to seat us in the busiest noisiest seats in the restaurant.

This place is just south of the river. The carpaccio way great and the lobster ravioli had decent chunks of lobster in them. Nice wine list complements the menu. Reminds me of some wonderful spots in the Midwest. Great place for dinner. Take a daye, you can't go wrong.
