Went here with friends. The ambience of the restaurant is great, really liked it. I had a house salad as did others and some the spinach salad. Both were very good, ample and fresh lettuces. Some had the salmon and most had the tuna special which came with lobster risotto. The risotto was fine, although having just been in Italy,... More

Food prep was perfect. Wine list just right. We were allowed to linger and enjoy our evening. The room is nicely furnished and relatively quiet. It was recommended by friends and the restaurant fulfilled every expectation.

First visit and enjoyed the experience. Service was truly outstanding. Food itself was good to very good. The clam chowder was mediocre, but the house salads were good. The New Zealand rack of lamb was good (generous amount), as was the scallops risotto.

Warm bread, the spinach salad, the rack of lamb and seared ahi were delicious. A lovely spot to dine with friends.

Bricks is an elegant restaurant with outstanding service and food. They have thoughtfully prepared unusual (at times) items on their menu - such as Abalone which is hard to find these days. My husband had that - and it was very well prepared and flavorful. My daughter and I each had the lamb chops which were the best I have... More

We are new to Reno, Portland transplants, and are constantly looking for good places to eat. Bricks is consistent and tasty, we've been back three times after other spots have disappointed. The cocktails are great, good choice in appetizers and steaks have been cooked to our satisfaction every time. Halibut was slightly overcooked once, but this happens- especially when you're... More

As always, remember this is Reno , and there is no true " fine dining " in this city. However, this is clearly the best " stand-a-lone" attempt in Reno. It tends to be quieter with a pleasing ambience, (I have to think it's location helps as it is away from the tourist areas)but of course, as with all Reno... More

Everything about Bricks was a pleasant and enjoyable experience. The service was excellent. Our server, Molly, was friendly, knowledgeable and attentive without being over-bearing. The bus person filled our water and watched our bread/butter and was unobtrusive. I can't say enough about how good the food was. It is obvious that the chef takes much pride in his craft and... We're regulars and for good reason. Both the kitchen and the service are always on-spot! Good menu choices and great attention to detail. Very competent wait staff and owners-on-hand keep the experience "right there." A little pricey, but it's always a pleasant evening.
