Went here to try their dim sum. Ordered the sampler. I would order just the chicken siu mai next time. We had fried spring rolls and I really liked those. My favorite entrees were the lettuce wraps, the generals chicken and the hot & sour soup. I ordered hot tea and the jasmine was very good. The staff were so... More

Service was terrible, food was bad. Had the signature dim sum sampler plus fried wontons. Wontons and pot stickers were okay. Everything else was bad. Shrimp things smelled rotten. They also put sun-dried tomatoes in their chili oil, which is a horrible thing to do. Only beers on tap were Sam Adams choices :-( The only positive was that it... More

I was lost and hungry. I found this place was open and decided to give it a shot. My chicken was extremely sweet. So sweet I couldn't eat much. But the rice was good. I think if I got something else id like it.

I've dined at and really enjoyed CaiE many times, but always for lunch on a weekday. This time, I visited on a weekend and my experience was completely different. First, I discovered they don't offer the lunch specials on weekend, Second, even though I visited at noon, I was offered the dinner menu rather than the lunch menu. Third, they... More

It's really disappointing to write a poor review. I searched YELP and Tripadvisor for help in finding a DimSum restaurant for lunch. We came across this cafe and had hopes of some decent potstickers and shumai. The menu had the basics so we thought it would be OK. Sadly we were disappointed. The potstickers were made from thin wonton skins,... More

Asian restaurant close to home. This restaurant is in a small stripe mall off of South Meadows. The food is very good, plentiful and is not cooked with MSG. In fact the owner whose name is CaiE is obsessed with healthy fresh cooking and is forever tweaking recipes to incorporate fresh healthy foods on her menu. This is my go... More

We have been coming here for years and it is always good. We enjoy the kung pao shrimp, string beans with black bean sauce and garlic shrimp as well as many other dishes. The service is always good.

Service was slow and waiter's English was poor, had trouble understanding my simple order. The chicken dish I got was weird, it was fried but the pieces were super small so it felt like all I was eating was breading. Will never return.

Servers are erratic . . . as is the kitchen. Been there for dinner and lunch . . . like I said, it's conveniently located. Never great, occasionally pretty awful. Nobody in the kitchen takes pride in what they do . . . they simply sling hash! Could use a good steam-cleaning and some team-building. Nobody seems to know what... More

CalE has great lunch specials! Huge portions, great food, great service and a bright sun-drenched room. For the lunch specials, you pick your protein and sauce / preparation, and egg rolls or potstickers. All choices are excellent and arrived July.
