This restaurant has a good take on some dishes. It is located off the Las Vegas strip and the area around is being developed. I parked on the street and you pay for parking. There was a pretty decent crowd and I was seated at...the bar being solo. I ordered fried chicken strips with a honey dip. The strips were crunchy and tasty with the honey dip. I also had Gyro tacos that had ground lamb with Feta cheese. I liked the fusion dishes and the experience. Service was attentive and quick. Prices are reasonable.More

Carson Kitchen is a great little spot near the historical downtown Las Vegas! Great craft cocktails, good service and yummy food! The menu is small but the food is delish. Great spot to swing into of/when you are exploring the Fremont Street district.

This is the second time I have eaten here. The staff is wonderful and the food is fabulous! The Devils Eggs have a touch of pancetta and caviar that are delicious. The tempura green beans come with a pepper jelly cream cheese that I would...have never thought pair together, but it works! The glazed donut bread pudding is perfect to cap off the dinner. I highly recommend leaving the strip to eat one of the best places in Vegas.More

Don’t let its sketchy downtown location fool you, the very busy Carson Kitchen is a flavor winner. You enter past a nondescript storefront exterior to an oasis of cool vibes and a busy dining room. They have a back patio and an upstairs dining area...as well. The menu is basic. There are small plates to share and a few sandwich options. Plus an interesting collection of sides and a solid drink selection. I had the burger and my dining partner had the meatballs. Both were delicious. We will return to Carson Kitchen at the very first opportunity.More

The food at this place rivals the best restaurants on the strip or anywhere for that matter. We were in Vegas for 4 days and went here twice. Had a good mix of items on the menu and they were all sensational!! Had the chicken...thighs which were juicy, tender and a bit spicy. Most people won’t consider it too spicy but given the not spicy Norwegian style palate we have in MN we found some heat in there. Mac and cheese was creamy and had a good flavor. Had the chicken skins which had much more of a crunch than we expected but loved the play of the sweet and salty with the honey. Now for the REALLY good stuff. The bacon jam. My god. Comes to the table bubbling away with a strip of golden brown cheese melted in the middle. Great flavor from the bacon. Played on the sweet, salty and savory notes. Biting in to it immediately will make you suffer from molten hot dip. So I would spread, nibble on other stuff then come back to it. The dip almost sticks to your teeth like candy. But it is absolutely delicious. Got this both times. The glazed donut bread pudding. Another all star dish. I’m not positive but I’d imagine they get the donuts from the donut bar next door. Warm, sweet, spongy beautifully custardized bread pudding with the two sauces. One of my favorite desserts I’ve ever had. I will have dreams about it. But the real deal #1 item, honestly the greatest thing I have ever eaten is their pork belly. I don’t know how they do it but the fat in the pork is just absolutely liquified and the pork just falls apart. They get a nice crisp on the top and bottom. The plate had a small pool of fat after eating a piece of the pork. Liquified. And then my 3 new favorite words ever. Buffalo. Beurre. Blanc. A rich buttery French sauce with a tiny bit of heat with the Buffalo sauce. I would bathe in this stuff, wish I had it coursing through my veins, wish it was a cologne scent…legit the greatest thing on the planet!! The atmosphere and ambiance are top notch too. Dim lighting. Hole in the wall feel. Great music playlist. Open kitchen full of people who you can tell truly believe in and care about what they are doing. Service was great too especially our first visit. The young lady that waited on us seemed genuinely happy with how much we loved everything. Gave us great recommendations for places to visit that put similar care and attention in do what they do as themselves. She was great. The second time we went in we were kind of ignored (for lack of a better term) they had servers on but they were quite busy so we didn’t feel frustrated at all. Totally understand. But we wound up being taken care of by our man Ethan. Who after talking to him found out he was the GM. I don’t know what they pay this guy but it isn’t enough. He was running the expo line, hosting, bussing dishes and stuff inside and outside, running food to tables and even serving table in our case. The dude was all over the place, extremely attentive, didn’t sacrifice quality AT ALL and still took the time to talk to us for a few minutes. This place is perfect in every way. Loved every moment of both of our visits and will demand that friends visit there and we will stop in every single time we are in town. In my wife’s words “they opened my eyes to what food can really be” and this was after eating at some really great places around the world. Keep it up! Can’t wait to go back!!More

We were looking for a good restaurant in the Fremont St area downtown, and read some good reviews (on Trip Advisor, natch) on this spot and gave it a try. We loved it. Mostly smaller plates made for sharing it was perfect for our party...of four. Excellent waitstaff, excellent food, reasonable cost. It's a small place, maybe 15 tables, then discovered they have an outdoor area and perhaps and upstairs as well. Inside can be a little noisy, but a number of tasty items on the menu. It's a place I would absolutely go again and take friends to. Tiny bar with some excellent cocktails.More

I was super excited to have my sweetheart’s birthday brunch here while visiting Vegas. The restaurant is cool and the food and drinks were delicious. Get the donut french toast and the oysters. Our waitress Angel was super friendly and attentive be sure to ask...for her. I was disappointed that the manager NEVER came over to our table to see how everything was going especially after I mentioned the reason for our visit as she was preparing to seat us. She was very attentive to a party of two that were on a foodie tour (guess some guest are more important than others). Customer service to me is as important as the quality of food and Carson’s Kitchen fell short. I might be back....give them a try - maybe your experience will be 5 star.More

A lovely evening with my wife. Black rice and oxtail risotto, veal meatballs, short ribs steak, and barramundi. A most excellent meal accompanied by two very tasty cocktails. And reasonably priced...especially for Vegas. The staff was also very friendly and accommodating. Recommend this 100%

Continually pushing forward, locations in Salt Lake City and outside Atlanta opened amidst a global pandemic, Carson Kitchen Las Vegas launched Sunday Brunch on the final weekend of September 2020 and recently added a few tweaks to compliment an already-stunning Spring/Summer menu. Still DTLV’s best...Restaurant since its inception, a team of talented servers providing faultless service with the utmost attention to guest safety, it was with General Manager Ethan Asch leading the way that an Independence Day celebration got started with “Fat Elvis,” the King’s favorite Sandwich served like Carson Kitchen’s delectable Beet Tartare Toast but upgraded further by Toffee Sauce. Filled to capacity by noon, waves of Food and Beverage arriving as share plates were refreshed frequently, additional new plates from Chefs Harwell and Simon include spicy Breakfast Tacos plus “Garbage Hash” built from Short Rib and Pork Belly dressed-up in fine-dining quality Demi-glace. Never passing on Crispy Chicken Skins or Bacon Jam, each as delicious today as they have been twenty-times prior, bonus Breakfast plates include “Chicken & Waffle” featuring Carson Kitchen’s “Secret Sunday” Bird atop Waffles incorporating “shhhh, it’s a secret” Mac ‘n Cheese, plus a reformatted Spam Benny with Cornbread and Shrimp and Grits that take the Southern classic to new heights via Mint, Fish Sauce and Chiles. Continuing with Salad, “Hawaiian Mac” brightening its namesake with Pineapple alongside slices of Spam grilled to resemble Flatbread, diners in the know will make certain not to pass Tempura Green Beans and Pepper Jelly Cream Cheese or Black Rice & Oxtail Risotto that never get old. Next veering fusion with American-Chinese Mu Shu Mushroom Flatbread including Tamago, before snapping back to America via the retooled Butter Burger and Steakhouse quality Pork Tenderloin, Dessert comprised two day-one icons and one glorious homecoming, the Brownie and Bread Pudding each previously discussed at length while Banoffee “Pie” is even better…though the all-new deep fried French Toast Sticks from Brunch are also quite formidable.More

I attended a private party at this location while in Las Vegas. It is a nice size venue for about 50-60 people. The food was really good and the service was great. They did a small food station and had passed bites. There was an...abundance of food and everything I ate was great. The staff was attentive and accommodating providing great service. In the second hour, they moved a few of the tables so people could dance. They allowed the people having the party to bring and manage the music.More
