This is the best BBQ restaurant in Las Vegas. I really like the hot links with jalapeno cheese. Side: Cole slaw and okra So good!!!!! I have to go back again.

My family and I love it here. The restaurant is roomy and the tables are great. My favorite thing to order is their brisket burger or the sliders.

This happened on April 17 I spent $44 and this was at the Fort Apache location in Las Vegas If I could give this place zero stars I would. I had a horrible experience. I went there on a date with my boyfriend (keep in...mind I'm 16). I end up spending $44 and I know that's not a lot but for a teen girl it is. so I expected a lot. I was really looking forward to this lunch and when they bring it out we dig in. the brisket had no seasoning and the ribs were charcoal. their sides were decent but when the fries came out, the fries were so oily and soggy. They didn't even have barbecue sauce! what kind of BBQ place has no BBQ sauce ? So I asked for a refund very kindly, and the waitress said that she has to talk to the manager. The manager comes out and tells me that he can't refund anything but the ribs (only $5) and I said well I spend $44 on this so I want my money back. He said I have to talk to the owner. so I said can I talk to the owner after waiting for a while he come out. He starts off very very rudely and was like lisen here your NOT get a refund. meat prices are going up and your NOT getting your money back. I said well the manger already told me I can get my ribs refunded. I agreed to get my ribs refunded. I said, so what do I do with the other food ? he said you can take it to go and he hands me a to go box. I start to get everything ready to go in the box. that's when I said I'm gonna wright a bad Yelp review on you! Thats when he grabs the waitress by the wrist and shoves her behind him and says they don't get a refund! I said you don't get to touch her like that! I start getting my food ready to go and leave, he took the food (on the 2nd plate of food) and says he's gonna throw my food away. I said you won't! So he puts it on the top of the garbage and said now it's in the garage right where you belong and I said excuse me and he said because ur garbage and I said excuse me what and I take the food in my hand and i threw it onto the floor because he just called me trash and he threw the food that I paid for away. I walk out and he blocks the door from my boyfriend getting out and my boyfriend tries to get out before he blocks the way and the guy crushed my boyfriend in the door and breaks the drink all over my boyfriends shirt (keep in mind this guy is like 6'6 at least 250-300 pounds. my boyfriend is 5'7 and barly 150 pounds). I scream and I said get off him you can't squeeze him in the door like that and the guy said he shoved me first and I said how how does my boyfriend shove ur big ass?! and I get in the car to go. my boyfriend stays there talking and I keep saying get in the car get in the car and my boyfriend won't get into the car and my boyfriend goes to pull his pants up and the manager then shows his gun and starts to pull it out of the holster. And that's when I start screaming we're minors we're minors wtf are you doing why are you pulling ur gun out and I start crying and screaming because I was scared he was gonna shot my boyfriend. I scream for my boyfriend to get in the car finally he gets in the car and we go to pull out and then the owner tries to get in the way and keep up from pulling out and so we pull out faster that's when the owner of the store punches the side of my car and dents it we drive away really fast and called the cops. I had a horrible experience and I don't want anyone else to ever feel this way. I was trying to go on a date and ending up leaving with the fear of dyingMore

This was my first visit here . I am a big time Bbq Fan . I grew up in the Carolinas and lived in Texas and been in Vegas since 1991 , so I am familiar with different regional bbq styles and flavors . Dry...rubs , smoked , wet , I like them all if done right . I got the 3 Meat Plate with Pulled Pork , Baby Back Ribs , Brisket , Bbq Beans and Mac & Cheese . It's a $5 upcharge for the Baby Back Ribs . Everything is not sauced and you can get 3 different sauces to add for yourself . The Carolina Sauce is a Mustard Base which where I was raised is more of a Vinegar Base . Different regions have their own way . The Sweet was good . The Spicy I didn't like and I usually love Spicy or sometimes mix Sweet and Spicy together . The Baby Back Ribs were falling off the bone and were smoky . I liked the Sweet Bbq Sauce on them . The Pulled Pork was just a tad dry , but had good flavor and I liked the Carolina Sauce on them the best . The Brisket you get Lean or Moist ( More Fatty ) . I got the Moist and I should have got the Lean . They were very tender , but the flavor wasn't there . Disappointing . I think the Lean would probably have more smoky flavor and that nice colored smoke ring we look for . I liked the Sweet Sauce on them . I almost got the Jalapeño Hot Link instead of the Brisket . I will try them next time . The Bbq Beans were my 2nd Favorite in Vegas , good job ! The Mac & Cheese was good also . Roadkill has the best Mac & Cheese I have ever had . I was disappointed in the Sweet Tea . I thought it was not homemade and very syrupy , but the business responded in another review site that it was homemade , but the girls must have accidently put way too much sugar in it . The cashiers were friendly and the place was clean and well decorated . A bar and big TVs for sports and 2 dining areas . I will come back again and try other things on the menu . I do think they should include a piece of Corn Bread with the Meat Plates . They charge $1.50 for it . Most Bbq places either give you a Roll or Cornbread with a Meat Plate . They do give a Military Discount which I appreciate very much . Thank you .More
