We stopped by on our way through town near closing time. Even though it was quite late they were happy to serve us a meal. The staff was absolutely amazing and the food delicious. The hot shrimp cocktail dish was to die for as was the cabbage pico served alongside tortilla chips. We will eat here again!

The food is great at La fiesta, and the staff is very friendly. The only mexican restaurant where you can get beans that are not refried.

Typical anglicized Mexican peasant food. Tasty but not authentic. I notice most reviewers of this restaurant are not from the Southwest so they give this place 5 star ratings that are undeserved. The service is good and the drinks are OK but very expensive. Dr13Bor

Didn't have to wait long to be seated if you call ahead. The margaritas were delicious, food was good!

Little hole in the wall Mexican restaurant.Always friendly service, great margaritas, the carne asada is THE BEST in town.Whenever we have out of town company, this place is a must do for dining out.Especially our Northeast coast friends who don't get much true Mexican food.Love this place.

We always look forward to eating at LaFiesta when we are in Elko. This time I had the seafood enchilada. It was stuffed with huge chunks of crab and shrimp. Delicious! My husband always orders Carne Asada and is never disappointed. The servers are always attentive and friendly. It has a very casual atmosphere.

We eat her several times a month. The food is great, portions are huge and waitstaff is great too. I read a couple of reviews about the female waitress and I was surprised. She is quiet but she is kind and efficient. I haven't found a waiter or waitress there that isn't great. Treat yourself....have lunch or dinner here.

Some of the reviews had me a little worried as there were a few who thought it was more TexMex than authentic, but I figured "what the heck". I was not disappointed. The first tipoff that this might be good was the cabbage salsa(along with a tomato one) served with the chips. When I checked out the menu, I saw... More

I had one of the combinations. It was well made and plenty of it. It is not traditional Mexican fare, more Tex Mex. ( way to much cheese for traditional) The food was delicious, however. Service was good and the restaurant clean.

From the outside this looks more like it should be an old hardware store or something but great food is awaiting inside. This is a busy restaurant filled with locals. The service was running but attentive and the atmosphere was warm and inviting. We'll definitely stop back if our adventures ever take us this way again.
