I enjoy finding small locally owned restaurants to eat at. I ordered their version of a runza which was a cabbage something or another. The sandwich and medium drink cost me over $13. The runza had a strange flavor to it. I didn't finish even half of it. Probably won't eat there again.

I will admit these people do make a darn good sandwhich and soup, but their prices are HIGH. I mean really high. For me and my boyfriend to go eat there and get 2 sandwiches, 1 cup of soup and 1 soda it was $27! Almost $30 for a couple of sandwiches (that price didn't include the tip we left... More

Stopped in on drive to co. Was a little Leary as when got to place it was noon and no other customers, but decided to try anyways. Was pleasantly surprised. Sandwich and soup were both good. The bread was homemade and fresh which made the sandwich

I was glad to see this shop still around 15 years after my first visit because their pies are absolutely amazing! (Although the shop is still for sale, as another reviewer mentioned nearly 3 years ago, but I don't think the baker noticed!)

We thought the place was closed because the overhead lights weren't on, but the door was open. I think they just leave them off? They seemed to offer a decent range of items. We got sandwiches and burgers. The food was alright. Nothing special. We ordered w/ out a few toppings but everything came w/ everything. We just picked the... More

The best place in town for a sandwich, bowl of soup, piece of pie or a pretzel. Owners always friendly

When we are driving along I80, we like to stop at Homemade Heaven Sandwich Shop and at least have a piece of their homemade pie. The last time we stopped we had lunch (which is pretty much average) and some cherry pie (which is delicious)! Overall I would say the restaurant is average, but the pie is excellent.

The "special" enchilada was an unpleasant combination of dried out tortilla, dry ground beef mixed with (ginger?!). The plate, was over $6, and was just the enchilada, no rice or beans. An extra charge would have been added for any hydration such as, sauce or sour cream.

This place has some of the best sandwiches anywhere. They also do awesome giant pretzels. The reuben is my fave!
