The staff gave us a lovely table in the window, and were very attentive. We'd been told that the restaurant had changed management since...we had last been (~3 years before). I can't confirm this. The staff were very good. The food was less wonderful than before. It was not bad, but it seems to have dropped a little in quality ... it was all eaten, and enjoyed, but none of us were singing the praises that we had in the past. We will visit again.More

Comfortable surroundings, friendly efficient service from Eve and Sagar. Food was superb and they went the extra mile to supply a surpise birthday brownie with candle accompanied by a chorus of Happy Birthday.

Excellent food, service friendly and super. Decor super and trendy. One of / if not the best Indians around. Would strongly recommend.

Your updated menu is brave and just so exciting to see the...new additions especially the lamb dumpling soup which is sublime. We were waiting 2 hours, even the person in the restaurant said the food was ready and they just said they would call us, and never happened. Even we tried to ring them to cancel and try to catch another option, they didn't want to...answer the phone. After 10-15 min (AFTER 2 HOURS) they sent COLD food We are so disappointed and we were hungry!! Bad delivery service.More

Tasty and good service. The presentation of the food was really top notch. Like the seating which I think is relatively new. Recommended.

Food is good, but second time receiving tikka masala sauce that is watered down as you can see in the picture. Highlighted this issues the first time to the restaurant thinking it was once off, but it happened again this evening.More

Booked table for 7pm. Enjoyed delicious starter and main course. Approached by manager when we had JUST finished main course. He explained that there had been a mix up and staff had double booked the table.....ie they wanted the table back. No question, did we...want desert or coffee? No, they needed the table. Not what you expect when you prebook a table for a saturday night out. Very disappointing end to what should have been a pleasant night. Situation handled very badly. We WONT be back.More

We’ve been using Veda for about 2 years, always takeaway because of Covid. We organised to have my son’s communion here with just family together in the restaurant. Krishan and the team were great both before and during the event. There was a set menu...with lots of choice for everyone and everybody enjoyed their food. The food is of really high quality and the flavours are amazing. We’ll be back for more as will all our guests. Thanks VedaMore

What can I say? top notch restaurant quality food! I am not one to give compliments easily when it comes to food, especially Indian food, however on this occasion I feel its warranted. I recently ordered food twice from this establishment, and ordered the same...thing both times Chicken Methi, sag aloo and Pillau rice on both occasions the food was excellent and it was nice to have an option to order something slightly different from the 3 main basic sauces that every Indian restaurant seem to do korma (cream sauce) tikka masala (tomato cream sauce) and basic curry/Bhuna sauce) after all isn't Indian food supposed to be about the contrast and complexity of different sauces and flavours? so any way I ordered methi chicken with the flavour profile leaning towards methi leaves, for those who don't know methi are basically fenugreek leaves and are usually added to most Indian curries in small quantities however in this dish the main flavour is methi and I can highly recommend it if you are bored of the useual. I also had sag aloo which was the nicest sag aloo I have had in a while. Also there attention to detail when it came to the Pillau rice didn't go unnoticed, subtle inclusions that some Indian takeaways don't bother with like bay leaf, and Black cardamom which have a smokier taste to the green cardamoms. To conclude I would recommend this restaurant as they seem to take genuine pride in the food they present!More
